Lowfat cottage cheese sucks ass
Lowfat cottage cheese sucks ass.
|
Cottage cheese is over rated. And I don't think it's rated that high to start with.
|
I love cottage cheese.
I hate salad dressing. So I make a salad from the lettuce and carrots and sunflower seeds on the salad bar, then bring my own cottage cheese in place of salad dressing. Thought I'd help the diet along with low fat. It sucks. Ass. |
what did you expect, the whole cottage?
TFIBHAW. |
TFIBHAW:
Thanks, foot is be here all week? Try fish it be here all week? The food isn't being here all week? |
thy foot is bee hear all weak
|
btw, reducing fat in you diet in the hopes of losing weight doesn't really work. Try eating some of everything, not most of everything. As I was told yesterday, "All you can eat, doesn't mean you should."
|
If I'm eating salads for lunch (banana or string cheese for breakslow) then I think I'm probably following that philosophy a bit anyway. I may have a decent dinner some nights. I may not. Dinner may be beer. The trick being cut here, cut there. Give up here, take there.
I mean, if I were eating chocolate cake with sausage flowers and lard handles along WITH the lowfat cottage cheese, I don't expect it would help much either. :p: Tonight I'm leaning towards Buffalo Chicken Chunks. And beer. ;) |
Beer: It's not for just breakfast any more.
I think your diet sounds perfect, myself. OR should I say, myself thinks yourself's diet sounds perfect? The chix chunx with beer, does that come with fries and cole slaw? Is the chocolate cake part of the prix fixe or is it a la cart? I'd also like grilled chicken beasts on the seizure salad with bleuch ease dressing in besides. I'll have another beer when you get a chance. |

Because I know for a fact that regular cottage cheese also sucks ass. :greenface |
Low fat everything sucks ass.
|
I'm kinda ashamed to admit it, but I took to fat free milk pretty easy.

I'll buy: you fly! |
Oh dude, pull it back. They have SARATOGA CHIPS.
I'm so there. |
Saratoga Chips? They're only 40 minutes away.
|
Ahhhhh...Saratoga Springs NY!
When fresh and done right...they are the yummiest of all the potato family. |
You can't diet on dairy and deep fried :smack: You need veg and pineapple and papaya no bananas :headshake:
|
There be lots of veg involved. I like calcium and potassium.
Chicky chunx are for special occasions, when i haven't eaten in a day and a half. I am addicted to buffaloaf sauce, i admit. Darling, it's the beer you should object to. ;) Besides, maybe i wanna bulk up. Going for He-woman of the year. |
Oh you can certainly diet on it. Probably won't lose any weight, but you can diet on it.
|
Eh. It ain't pizza and doughnuts and soft pretzels with cheese. Imma keep it in my 'win' column. My metab isn't gone, yet.

just use regular. Sad to say, unless you're going to cut calories (beer), you need to work out to have a noticeable effect. Bigger engine burns more fuel.... |
How funny that when i came back to look at this thread the cookie read: why ask why? Just drink beer.
Mmmm, cookie. Not really. And ye of little faith in my moving around more campaign. :p: |

So far, I haven't seen anything in your diet that I'd want to live w/o. Be sure never to drink light beer. Guinness or some decent ale will add the proper amount of nutrition in the form of vitamin LWL*. * Life Worth Living. |
Have to agree with Nirvana, here - lots of veggies. Some berries and stone/tree fruits. Some whole grains, some legumes, and it's all good. :)
|
Can the veggies be wrapped in bacon, batter-dipped, then deep fried in lard?
j/k Everything in moderation, especially moderation. <-- my motto. |
Cottage cheese is meant to be a low fat alternative to begin with. Getting low fat cottage cheese seems like overkill to me. lol

Speaking of beer: http://www.cellar.org/showpost.php?p...3&postcount=15

There's the joie de vivre I've been looking for! A man, in a singular pursuit for the perfect beer. When you get famous I'll write your autobiography.
Now for some recursiveness. http://www.cellar.org/showthread.php?t=28682&page=2 I didn't get my wingies last night. Maybe tonight. I shall have to forage through the forests, looking for fairy trees and slight ripples in the otherwise still waters...all signs of mystical cookery, until I come across the entrance to the Magical Wings and Rings. |

 |
I like low fat cottage cheese. Bought some today. With pineapple.
I think it's a bit like drinking skimmed milk - once you get use to it, it's your go-to. Tastes a bit watery to start with, but if you try to switch back everything is SOOOOOO creamy! |
once you get used to it...
|
It only takes about three weeks to change your tastes; then you don't crave the fat and salt. But you can't have even a little in that time, or your brain just keeps craving.
|
I had to go salt free for a year. When I would occasionally brush up against 'hidden' salt I was astounded at how salty some things were. Bread, for instance. The littlest amount of salt can go a long way if you aren't habituated to it.
Same with sugar, if you go off sweeteners for a while you notice it in things where it has no place being. Still, the whole point of milk and cheese is the richness. (get it? the whole point?) I still think that eating skimmed foods is like sneaking into the theater without paying. As I used to say at the bakery to folks who'd ask if we made whole wheat chocolate chip cookies (we did), "If you need the fiber from a whole wheat chocolate chip cookie, then you're eating too many cookies." |

I'm a restless soul. I've lived in over 50 different places, some as short as a month. The house I'm in now is the longest time I spent anywhere apart from where I did most of my childhood, but if I'm here in two years it will beat my childhood home, making the longest I've stayed anywhere about 14 years. The shortest lived job I've ever had was three hours as a dishwasher in a restaurant in Glacier National Park. While I stuck with baking for about four years, it was at four different bakeries. |
So you're saying you can't hold a job, eh. :haha:
|
Do odd jobs count?
I worked for about 4 hours helping move furniture and merchandise into a Victoria's Secret that was opening in a brand new mall. I got the job because I knew somebody who knew somebody. They didn't let me unpack the undies though. Just the lotions. The hardest part of that day was moving some antique china cabinet up a dead escalator because it didn't fit in the elevator. They were going to use it for a display case. Pain in the ass. But I made about $30 that day. Whoo! |
I think I've done a bit of everything too.
When the apocalypse comes, you'll want me for all your strawberry picking, cashiering, bartending, cooking, DOD contract assembly and testing, picture selling, porta-john assembly, and FA needs. |
I finally got chicken at the new wing place, yesterday after my doc appt.
I got chicken tenders with buffalo sauce...it was really good. Their saratoga chips, not so much. The ones at the country club were thin-sliced, lightly-browned, crispy, and warm pieces of potato heaven. These were more like kettle chips. Which I don't like. Too hard crunchy. |
