My wife suggested a 12/12/12 party.

She said she would cook a dozen eggs.
I said I would bring a baker's dozen doughnuts, but the 13 was rejected.

Eat one on the way home.

12/12/12 is already a national holiday. It's my 52 birthday. :-)

My oldest son is being sworn in to the bar on 12/12/12.
I have to figure out a good place to celebrate in DC ... :)

After discussion with a friend, I've decided to celebrate by calculating 12^6 with pencil and paper. Hmm, can I do it in my head...

Oh, forgot to answer the question. I"ll be doing the opposite of rapturing. I suppose it will involve fire and brimstone but I'm not sure if this part of the country has brimstone. We may have to settle for limestone. we've tons of that.

I've based my financial planning on the whole world ending 12/21 so....here's hoping!

Those of us who only have nine fingers know better. That date is really 13/13/2675. And you will be 57. We know you were really born in the year 2617. People with ten fingers just get confused. Their number looks smaller. Then they don't feel so old.

On year 2000, computers would crash and the world as we know it would come to an end. Wacko extremists easily created that fear among naive ten finger people. Extremists forgot to mention that the year 2000 was more commonly known as the year 1024.

Fear is so easily created among those with ten fingers. Only fewer ten finger people with education saw through those extremist lies and fears.

In a few weeks, eight finger people will celebrate the new year: 3720. Be fearful. That number contains a zero digit.

Meanwhile we all know the world will end in 4000. Or the year 2048 to those who count using ten fingers.
