Man I would be so psyched to give out secerts this year, if I could only figure out what they are.:rolleyes:

This year I picked up a lot of under $2 cool stuff. I'm going to put them in a basket and take them to a friend's Christmas party as pick-your-own stocking stuffers.

I thought of this too late, but it could be an idea for next year or perhaps a good idea to add even now. Other than just likes and dislikes, how about hobbies or things we're interested in doing. For example, a person can say he/she likes to go camping. That way, Secret Santa may want to give something to use to go camping with. Shrug, just a thought. :D

I'm back!

But not part of Secret Santa. Which does pain me. But things have been pretty tricky here recently, Dad ans I have been diagnosed with lifestyle altering conditions. I was trying to find a way of dealing with it in my absence.

Anyway, I'm still trying to claw in every penny I can to go to Glasgow for our GTG. Barring a lottery win it seems unlikely.
So for the first year since its inception, I'm out.

But I adore the Cellar SS and look forward to photos and write-ups.

Hum. This year we had very few folks playing. Is money that tight? Or some dissatisfied with thier gifts? Hell it's all in fun. I've never got anything I didn't like or could use.

I sent some things to people I had the adresses for from last year but as far as I know, only one was received.

My personal withdrawal from Secret Santa was due to a number of issues.
Some were with the Cellar, MANY were financial, others with related to my health and Mum & Dad's, and the anniversary of Grandad's death too. I was desparately unhappy because of all of the above.

I hope the people I know well on here, IRL and via phone and PMs have seen a change in me already. More responsible, more careful, probably no less likely to over-react but perhaps less likely to broadcast it. Can't be sure it will last, but hey - neither will life.

I adore present and cards and wrapping and surprises. Always have. Not always a good thing :) But I'll be part of SS 2013 as long as I am alive and working.

Any changes that need to be made in order to make it work I'm happy to go along with.

Thanks Bruce. I moved to CA at the end of January and have been super busy alternating between applying for jobs and not getting them. Gets me down and panicky sometimes.
