How many times a day do you beat Solitaire?
How many times a day do you beat Solitaire?
|
I was beating solitaire several times a day until I started needing glasses, then I stopped before I went completely blind.
|
PER day?
I cannot answer that question since, I do not play solitaire per day. |

For pre extraction surgery, I was given a paper questionnaire that had multiple choice options such as daily, weekly and monthly and then by how many.
|
I usually just play until I win and then maybe a few more times after that until I win again and then I might finally give up, unless I want to win just one more time.
Otherwise, mostly I play FreeCell and I'm running at about 54% win rate with that. |

B--That's none of your business. |
You can win more often if you select to have a single card turn over instead of three.
This is the way I play, because I am not a masochist. |
I play Chinese solitaire and beat it probably about 30-40% of the time.

I play Northwest Territory on my solitaire program on my phone.
I've started the stats over many times, and played a bunch in each set...but can never keep it much above 25% for wins. |

Doctor, police officer, pesky relative...the answer is ALWAYS 2!

Very dependent on the variety of solitaire.
Klondike (that's regular old American Solitaire) I run around 20% wins. Scorpion, Alaska, Ukranian Solitaire, and Russian Solitaire, and Spider I run around 5%. My latest favorite is Batsford, which is nigh impossible, 1-2% wins. I have a lot of time on my hands, and 250 versions of solitaire. |
Wolf, do you play with actual cards, or on the computer? Before computer, I used to play a lot of Canfield and Scorpion.
|
I beat solitaire like a red-headed stepchild.
Sometimes. |

I love Scorpion, never tried to play it with real cards, moving the piles seems like such a hassle when you have to tidy them up every time you move them, but it's MADE for computer play. I am also a big Canfield fan. I worked my way through the Solitaire section of Hoyle's Rules of Card Games when I was a kid stuck in bed with pneumonia. I haven't found addiction solitaire or accordion yet, but I'im sure they're in there somewhere ... I mean 250+ different solitaires, they have to be in the batch, right? |
Isn't addiction also called Montana? Or am I thinking of a different one?

I started wondering if I could improve my FreeCell win percentage, because basically when I play, a lot of times I dont give it my full attention, and I usually play really fast.
Well so far so good.... |
i just don't play it. am I a freak?

The stripped deck version does make wins more likely, and it seems to have unlimited redeals, which I kind of remember having a four redeal limit. Now I just have to find Accordion. And that one where you want to have only the Aces left that I can never remember the name of ... might be Aces Up. (not on the phone under that name. But Agnes Bernauer is pretty cool). |

6 to King is more winnable.
There is also a "Big Montana" in my list, which is a double deck version. And something called Big Black Carpet which uses only the black cards. |

New Cellar Challenge:
Beat Solitaire, beat Solitaire again--before the cards clear from the first time (seen below on dual monitors). |
I play Eight Off on my phone, but not very often anymore. I'm a crosswords sort of gal.
That and Doom. |
By "Doom" do you mean the ID software game? I love that game. A lot. Played it through a couple of times, back when it was new.
|
ID software...didn't they do the Commander Keen series?
I love those old games. And all the Aveyonds too. |
