Tall? You may be at risk
Maybe you thought that tall guys get all the breaks. Many women prefer tall men, and they can always reach that thing-a-ma-jig at the top back of the closet. Well take heart all you shorties out there. Tall men have higher risk of clots.

Anecdotal evidence only.
My Dad is just over 6 foot and developed a blood clot on his lung. However this was following surgery, so it may not even be useful anecdotally... |
Maybe it's because tall men are more likely to have no fucking leg room whatsoever on trips?

Actuarial tables have long said that tall people have shorter lives.
Being tall is good in a crowd, and is probably good in most social interactions. But it is a liability everywhere else. It's best to be average height. Things are designed for average people. |

bollocks. They're just fine if not a little tall for me and I'm 5'4". They're designed for people around 5'6" I'd say, which is about average. Maybe tall men are just more whiny and likely to get bitch-slapped to death?

Except in Japan where the kitchens are designed for bloody midgets, I swear. |

For once I'm on the correct side of the curve. I'm a 5'2" male and I can tell you for a fact that most things are designed for taller people. Urinals, thermostats, cabinetry, peep holes are all made for someone at lest 6" tall than me.

tall people can see your bald spot

Yeah, but they're gonna die so they can't tell anyone about it.:haha:

Really? How much taller?
Pat thought I was much shorter, based on pictures taken by Jim. |
I was thinking 5'8" or 5'9"
