I changed to 2nd shift about 3 years ago and got really annoyed when I had to set the alarm to go to my mothers every Christmas.

As a matter of fact, I left early, it's no fun anymore. The Army is running the plant now and it's 90% bullshit spit & polish. Trying to get things done, while keeping the shop looking like nothing is being done, sucks.

My friend with a cts caddy was shocked at the trouble he had getting it to the parking garage in 1 inch of snow.

Maybe not. The body shop told me the insurance adjuster gave him the name of a place in AZ that would have them, and the body man said he would call them Monday. I checked their website this morning and they've got zilch, so we'll see.:(

Not a snowmobile, the front tires are 10 inches wide, and back tires are a foot. For snow you want narrow tires with aggressive tread, but on dry pavement that aggressive tread costs traction.

I'm still trying to figure out what or where you retired from. Does that mean like really fully not working anymore retired or did you just put your time in at this one long term job and now are going to do something else?[/confused]
