Don't know how this will go, but:
Animals In Places They Don't Necessarily Belong |
I love that one!
Aw shoot! I shoulda took a picture of the itty bitty beehive I found in the bird feeder the other day. Now I know why the bees were such a nuisance whenever we sat on the deck. |

This was a couple years ago. We have a cap on our chimney now.
|
A Dan'l Boone cap? :)

Is that a cat? The ears look like it.
|
It's a raccoon. It came out of the chimney because I turned on the furnace. But every time we turned the furnace off, it would climb back down again. Ammonia soaked rags got rid of it for good, and then we got a chimney sweep out to cap the chimney.
Do you have a cap on your chimney? If not, you should. |
I have to get mine lined. and capped. soon.

I was about to post how proud I was of you all, collectively, that you'd refrained from posting about the tragedy that befell my distant American cousin. However, I see that Lookout123, while always ready to point out the evils that befell his extended family on that inauspicious day (9/11) has no compunction when it comes to revisiting the misfortunes of other dwellar's near and dear.
(In other words, he beat me to it) |

Glinda, LOVE the "lumpy bedsheet" pic. If that was captured from video, and I think I speak for others here, we'd love to see it.
|
I love how Gaines acts when I change my bedsheets, attacking them and stuff. They're so funny!

And speaking of animals in places they don't necessarily belong, there seems to be a frog in my house somewhere. I've been hearing him singing his love song, on and off, for the last two days. I suspect he lives in the (attached) dish that one of my big potted plants sits atop. Which would be weird, since those plants have been in the same pots in the same place in the same room for five years and the gap between the pot and the dish is not big enough for a frog to fit into. So how'd he get there? :eyebrow: |

 He also likes to go into the pantry when I open it, and lick the plastic bags of beans. I guess I have to accept the fact that this cat is mentally ill. |

Yes, that's my dog. On the roof. http://wayswriter.com/pam/mayaroof2sm.jpg |
I'm feeling a little Deja Vu-ish... Did you post those already Juni? Or am I further off my rocker than I want to believe? ... or both
|
Oh God, I probably did. I don't know. :) But not on THIS thread :D
|
He must be a bird dog.
|
Cats like to sit on things that are on top of things.
|
That's how they stay on top of things.

Juni...I have a Weim that was stuck on our roof once.
He gets on top of cars regularly, like a goat. This distresses me because he has scratched the clear coat on my Avalanche. Darn dog! LOL! A side story: He also jumps fences. We raised the side fence (twice!) to keep him in the back yard so as not to scare the passing hoi polloi with his insane barking (he's really friendly). The second time came Monday, when the fence was raised another SIX FEET. It took him until Wednesday to figure out how to bypass this. Instead of jumping the thing, which is now well-nigh impossible, he simply figured out how to unlatch and open the gate. Weims are just too darn intelligent sometimes! Brian |

Hi Gromit! :D
|
Wow. How darn cute is that?!
