A YouTube Merry Christmas

This occurred to me when I came back today.
Thought it might be a nice idea if others join in.

BTW - I am appalled by my size in the video! I look like I'm about to eat my poor Mum. Ah well, already on a healthy eating plan and have started losing weight, will just step it up in 2009.

I had to turn it down. My dog started to bark wildly, probably waking my roommate, we shall see in t-5 4 3 2 1....

SG, you and your mum make a great double act! Merry Christmas to the pair of you (and the rest of your family!).

richlevy 12-20-2008 12:18 PM

SG, a very Merry Christmas to you. I'll have to check and see if anyone here is interested in doing a video.

Cicero 12-20-2008 02:12 PM

Oh and Merry Holidays!!! Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing it when my doggy isn't around.

I saw you and Jim doing a carol last night, now that was sweet. I played it like, 3 times. That made my Holidays! Though it is old... ;)

wow, i couldn't understand a fucking thing you said!? something about breakfast and explosions? your accent with a cold on top is like a whole different language. i might start picking it up after a half hour or so, but....lemme listen again here....oh..your sausages exploded, and were 'meh' but you had cocktails that were lovely!

cool video....moar!

What a delightful video! Until they get high speed for my phone lines I only have the dreaded dial up. No making videos for me. I can barely watch any. How about a photo?

footfootfoot 12-20-2008 09:32 PM

You two are adorable!

btw....no one is looking at your size. I am not sitting here thinking about a persons size for crying out loud. Others also should and probably do see YOU on the inside the same as me.

I was thinking, look, "she's so gawd awful sweet" "a person just wants to hug her up"

lumberjim 12-21-2008 09:12 PM

We wish you a merry christmas
(actually recorded to send to my dad)

thumpity thump, thump thumpity thump!
and about 7 of the 12 days of christmas:
(with a guest appearance by Dennis the Cat)

monster 12-21-2008 09:17 PM

excellent! (both vids) :D

lumberjim 12-21-2008 09:58 PM

a bit more production went into the last one there....i found the color doctoring part of that software and the cutesy frame thingie.

monster 12-21-2008 10:20 PM

I meant SG's too... but I did like the smoothness of the cut there.

Most of all, I admire the guts of both of you. No way, no how, am I doing that. nuh-huh.

......

.....no wait! you added more vids! haven't seen them yet.

monster 12-21-2008 10:23 PM

OMG, SG, I just noticed the tinsel over the pics and it brought the memories flooding back. It's compulsory Christmas Decoration for our parents' generation, isn't it? -it was holly or tinsel as I recall.....

Sundae 12-22-2008 04:15 AM

LJ - lovely! Thank you.

Monster - yes. My parents' idea of home decoration doesn't exactly match mine, but it's very comforting all the same. They have any number of random bits of tinsel to put on top of things. But then this is a generation that thought paper chains were the height of decadence, so putting tinsel on pictures is probably pretty racy.

Diz has already removed the tinsel from two pictures by jumping up at them. Luckily my Mum finds this clever and endearing rather than thinking he is a monster (no offence meant). She says she's glad they decided against getting a tree this year though. Probably wise.

DanaC 12-22-2008 04:20 AM

I'm never having another real tree as long as I am a dog owner!

Trilby 12-22-2008 06:05 AM
