Just like in High School!

xoxoxoBruce 06-07-2008 07:05 PM

I did ok in high school, but these people say some of which we were taught is untrue, or at least misrepresented.

DanaC 06-07-2008 07:30 PM

lol

Your Total Score is 52.5 %

I always sucked at sciences:P

Way better than at school!
Then again, they weren't big on multiple choice at my school.

I got 23% in the last Physics exam I took.
And Mrs Catchpole still tried to talk me into taking it as a subject!
Bless her - she was very involved in the school plays (as was I) and I think it blinded her to my complete incomprehension of the subject.

Been a long time since basic physics I guess.

regular.joe 06-07-2008 11:35 PM

62.5%. I'll take that for an average Joe.

Happy Monkey 06-08-2008 12:27 AM

85% i fisik gud.

Pie 06-08-2008 09:40 AM

Woo -- 90%. I R Physicist.

(Most of the questions were atrociously worded. Half the time, they never specified the reference frame in which the question was to be answered...)

HungLikeJesus 06-08-2008 11:25 AM

Pie, I agree about the wording. 92.5 %.

It would be interesting to see which questions people missed. There might be a pattern.

fargon 06-08-2008 12:32 PM

40% I be Sukin

sweetwater 06-08-2008 02:34 PM

82.5% - I couldn't concentrate. I kept raising my hand to ask for clarification on some of the questions ("atrociously worded", YES) and nobody stopped by my desk, so my hand emptied of blood and... oh never mind.

Cicero 06-08-2008 04:42 PM

65% - I started to fidget. I just started to randomly select bubbles. That's what they get for poorly written questions. Clarity!!

The test writer gets a 40%. That's a fail.

spudcon 06-08-2008 05:23 PM

Whew. At least there are others here who feel they've been hoodwinked either thru semantics, poorly worded questions or the excuse that science books are wrong. I beg to differ, but I never did take physics in school.

Crimson Ghost 06-08-2008 06:48 PM

Me got 50%.
Me is stewpid.
Me is go summer skool.
Me make parents sad.

DanaC 06-09-2008 06:03 AM

Only reason I managed to scrape a pass in Physics (i mean scrape....as in grade E) is because my best mate at school helped me with my coursework :P The exam itself I failed, but so did many of the class as they gave us the wrong fecking test paper.....the fact that it wouldn't have made the blindest bit of difference had they given me the right paper is neither here nor there :P

Chemistry was even worse! lol. Got a Grade F (which does not stand for fail, it was the lowest possible 'pass').

Thank God for the Humanities, else I'd have come out wi'nowt :P

BigV 06-09-2008 02:25 PM

80 percent correct.

100 percent irritated at the misleading, entrapping wording of the questions. [/voice of science student]

For those questions that were missed, I followed up on the "explanation". This led to further understanding, including a couple of mea culpas on the test writers' part indicating that terminology was a major sticking point for many people. Full credit for inspiring further discussion. [/voice of science teacher]

I got 100%! Oh, sorry, I tried to type the link in and went to the Psychic Test. I knew that would happen.

Seriously, I tied with DanaC. Ugh, I hated physics in HS, hated it in college, and just got through. NOT my forte!

classicman 06-11-2008 09:33 AM

Fail

lookout123 06-11-2008 04:05 PM

I gotted 50%. I'd like to believe I'd have done better if I hadn't lost interest about halfway through... but it probably isn't true.

monster 06-11-2008 04:27 PM

I got bored. And I have a physics A level. Got a D in it though, I think. Got an A at O Level, though.
