Fennecs are so dang adorable, even as adults. From the expression of its face I think it can hear all the ooooh-ing and aaaah-ing, too.
|
That's straight-up Anime cute.
|
That's like, the Dolly Parton of foxes.

Baby.Animals.R.Cute.
!!!! and, hey! Wikipedia says they're the only type of foxes that can be kept as pets. Tho' they can't be housebroken, so I'm not sure about that . . . |
I want to scratch his widdle head until he snoozes in my arms.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! |
Seriously cute.... but am I missing something.... there appears to be no recipe yet!
|
We were hoping you had one.

Shot at Woodland Park Zoo recently.
HEY! Stop hitting! PHOTOgraphed, yeesh. Not enough there for a decent tapas anyway.... |
Those long ears are adorable!
We think he's cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! |
But, what is he thinking?
|
"Turn that damn music down!"
|
No kidding.
If you have one of these guys as a pet, please run a low-pass filter on your stereo. |

LOL Fennecs!

ok, Flinty, I'll bite. He's thinking, as all adorable creatures do, "I can get away with murder!!!!, and then he laughs to himself and plots your demise. Probably through poison.

Spud, beat me to it on the Yoda front.
But, Gremlins anyone? Lovely, cute picture, but a little poorly timed for me. One of my (big eared) cats has been missing for 48 hours. Broken-hearted. I'll be avoiding Friday IoTDs for a while. |
aaw Sundae! Have you checked the office?

Tombstone
Anybody read the 1943 book "Mischief in Fez"? A good djinn comes to a little boy in the shape of a fennec (you can tell by the slit in one of the fennec's ears) to save him and his widower father from an unfortunate marriage to an evil djinn. It was still a fairly new book (sigh) when I read it, but made an impression that has lasted more than half a century, and I love that picture! Brings that wonderful book vividly back. (Only copy I can find on the internet is at Amazon for about $95.00!)

Welcome to the Cellar, tombstone. :D
Glad we could spark some good memories. |
Wow, what contrast-Post #29 with "1 post" (welcome tombstone BTW) and Post #30 with "25,668 posts".
|
But you see, it doesn't make any difference, every member gets to put their :2cents: in.
