Name that Movie quote game

place the quote(what movie, and what character said it?), then put one of your own up.

to start things with an easy one:

"I feel like a hundred dollars."

classicman 01-04-2008 07:45 AM

Clint Eastwood - The good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Way to kill this thread, classic.

Shawnee123 01-04-2008 12:42 PM

Yeah, what she said. Besides, Clint wasn't the character although I think for many movies you would need to google the character's name.

In the spirit of "I love these kinds of threads" I'll go ahead and submit one. The name of the movie and the actress is fine:

We met at Starbucks. Not at the same Starbucks but we saw each other at different Starbucks across the street from each other.

glatt 01-04-2008 12:55 PM

Was classic even right? A Google search says the answer is Fletch.

Shawnee123 01-04-2008 01:13 PM

lol...I just assumed that he knew he was right or he wouldn't have typed it.

This thread is just here to trap me and humiliate me.

But I still like my quote, and will submit another from the same movie (different character) for help:

What Shih Tzus need rescuing anyway? You don't see Shih Tzus straggling around the streets in an old coat "help, alms for the poor".

LJ 01-04-2008 01:16 PM

i was thinking caddy shack.....but Chevy Chase, anyway.....

this thread sucks. skip it.

Shawnee, I thought your first one was from Best of Show, but I didn't have one of my own, so didn't post.

Shawnee123 01-04-2008 03:00 PM

Yeah, that was right.

classicman 01-04-2008 03:45 PM

OMG - I guessed at the answer! Geez - this thread blows! FWIW it was chevy chase in Fletch -

Here's the next one "I'll be back" ( not me - the quote)

glatt 01-04-2008 03:48 PM

Who said Def Leppard made a movie of the album?

The song was used in "Pyromania" (1990).
The lead character "Matt" sang along with the song.
Therefore, a movie quote.
Check your facts before you get snippy.

And your "wonderjoints" quote?
Dudley "Booger" Dawson in "Revenge Of The Nerds".
Or am I wrong with that one too???

LJ 01-05-2008 09:20 PM

ah, drax has another fan.
