Heroes Question
Tivo cuts off the end of the episode.
Did her toe grow back or did she have to put it back on? |
Growed back,
Set your Tivo to record 5 minets longer |
It won't continue to do it.
Brighthouse sucks. |
Of course it's gonna grow back. I mean come on, she even walked away from her own autopsy.
|
Record Journeyman, too!
Anyway, after it grew back, she saw a peeping flying tom outside her window, and ran outside, where he had left Dr. Suresh Sr's book. |
it grew back, but the cute guy from school was hovering (flying) outside her window and saw it.
I think it's Invisible Guy (Christopher Eccleston) who's killing/attacking the senior group. Just a theory, though. |
Ok, people - need a little help here. Because of JV Football on Mondays, I haven't been able to watch. I'm guessing, because of the explosion at the end of the season, that is why they don't know who they are and where they are? Saw about 20 mins last night - the toe growing back, Peter finding out that, is his name. Who is the guy that "Hiro", is with?
|
Only Peter has amnesia. I'm guessing the Haitian has something to do with that. No explanation yet.
Claire knows who and where she is, but she was unsure what would happen if something was actually removed, as opposed to just cut or broken. Hiro accidentally went back in time to the era of the hero of his bedtime tales, whose sword he stole from Linderman last season. He was disappointed to find out that his "hero" was a drunk cowardly English expatriate masquerading as a samurai. |
who apparently has regenerative powers. An ancestor of Claire, perhaps?
|
ooooh. thanks guys
|
I caught this title out the corner of my eye and thought it read 'Herpes Question'...

Let's see, Tennet is the 9th Doctor, so Eccleston would be the 8th, right? Or is Tennet the 10th Doctor? I'm losing track.

with each new regeneration, I think, oh, no, I liked the last one better!
Daughter No. 1 just called me and said, "Did you see the last 10 minutes of Heroes?" LOL! I knew just what she was asking me, too. She said, "No one else at work is a dork who watches Heroes. I know--I'll call Mom! She'll know!" |

Well, I kinda liked Peter Davison, but I think I'm the only one. He also played Lord Peter Whimsey, I think, and I liked him in that.
|
Peter Davison will always be Tristan Farnon to me.

Well, I really liked Christopher Eccleston, too.
Did you see the ep where the doctor reunited with Sarah Jane Smith and K-9? I was squealing! |
I totally twigged to who Adam was before he showed up. But I'm sure my neighbor heard me yelling at the television screen when Suresh was giving it up to Bob. I never believe that guy is supposed to be a geneticist. He's so stupid!
|
I had a hunch that it would be him...they spent way too much time on his character to just leave him behind...and yes, I'm being careful to avoid posting spoilers :)
|
That was totally awesome; I love the way that in S1 the 'league' of good guys was established... and now in S2 there appears to be a 'league' of bad guys stacking up. :D
|
Indeed...but it's getting harder to tell which are which...
|
I'm intrigued by the multi-generational aspect. I keep thinking that cute flyboy bf of Claire's may be her brother; or that Adam might be an ancestor. But although powers seem to run in families, I guess specific powers aren't always the same.
BTW, anyone know what power Mrs. Petrelli might have? |
I would almost bet she could do the mind thing to.
|
I wasn't really into the second season until this week's episode; I thought it was great.
|
Was Peter's 'remembering' of momma dearest his own amnesia going away or was it his mother breaking it, or implanting memories in his head?
I find it unlikely that two of the older generation of heroes (nakamura and petrelli and bob and maury and adam and linderman) had the same power, though. |

As an aside - my Mum fell for Petherbridge in that series. She's seen him in practically everything he's done on stage since (Grandad as an old stage hand gets The Stage, the theatrical paper and she keeps track of him that way) and on a guided walk he did of London Theatreland, and Tea at the National (actors talking about their experiences of the National Theatre - with tea and scones thrown in). Anyway I sent a letter to his agent for Mum's 60th birthday, asking if he would sign the enclosed card as she was a big fan. He did, and added a doodle of himself - she has it framed now. What a lovely man. Baker was my favourite Who as I grew up with him. Tennant is far and away the sexiest Who - any coincidence that the gay mafia chose him? |

My point was, none of the original generation have the same power. |
