Asda to fine parking cheats

Perhaps they will clamp the cars and charge a £60 release fee?
It's private land after all, and I know some workplace carparks in city centres have signs up to this effect. Good news, good news though. I want them to have someone standing at the Pick Up Point as well, and waving off cars which are obviously sat there while someone "just pops in" but I am a self-confessed parking reactionary. |
That would be SWEET!

£ == left alt *and* numeric keypad 1 5 6
But I suspect it's built into her keyboard, and her Windows is localized for the UK. But, I'm just guessing. |
Tis built into our keyboards - shift 3 is £, shift 4 is $
We have to go hunting for the euro, although I expect it will make its way onto the keyboard sometime soon... |
I learn something knew every day.
If shift 3 is £....where do you get #? That's US shift 3. Btw, my girlfriend's computer has the Euro as it's own button (it's a new Acer laptop, but still sweet)! |

euro much tougher. sorry.

STEP AWAY FROM THE LEDGE! We covered this already, people. |
I Googled it, and what came up was this thread. . . . Edit: Duh...glatt just said that. [/tailpost]

Good For Asda.
Now if only the company woukd introduce regulations on the electronic shopping carts at walmart. No blue tag, no cart, you lazy bastard. |
I've started to call, you can get someone towed and/or ticketed just by letting the cops know.
|
Not in the UK, you can't. It's private land, the cops won't intervene.
|
That is a shame.
It makes sense now that they let the property fine the morons who park illegally. Here the city/county makes good money off of these idiots, especially if they are inside long enough to be towed. |
You get fined, just by privately employed car park staff.
|
I still can't figure out what chaffs people's ass about disabled parking, especially those with lifts and ramps like myself who cannot park in a regular spot.
I got a nasty comment at the Matthew's concert. It really confuses me. If I was a different person I would have lowered myself to his level and told him it could be arranged that he could get the same kind of spot very easily. |

I think it's just childish selfishness. The same you see when someone wants to leave their car in a bus lane in order to go into a newsagent and get a packet of cigarettes. They don't understand that it impacts the 60 (?) people on the bus, just that they were only in there for a second...
