Well I'm still in favor of beer.

xoxoxoBruce 09-15-2007 07:22 PM

Me too, but I can't figure out what the 10th one down in the left column is about.

Cloud 09-15-2007 07:42 PM

I like "magic beer."

Beer plus a meatball sandwich makes you Thomas Dolby.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-16-2007 11:54 PM

I was reading it Beer plus mystery meat pie equals the other folks better take anti-gas precautions, and you might want to too.

rkzenrage 09-17-2007 09:39 PM

Had me some ICHIBANS this past weekend.

Flint 09-17-2007 10:05 PM

I like to chase my sake with Sapporo... it has a sweetness.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-18-2007 02:18 AM

I can see that -- many high end sakes do too. Kirin wouldn't be as suitable, except for sakes with a more bitter finish.

Of American beers, this suggests Miller High Life for the sweetish sakes.

As the weather cools off out comes the Newcastle, Smithwicks, and Guinness.

rkzenrage 09-21-2007 11:49 PM

Me neither but when it's time to drink beer it doesnt matter.

Big beers, little beers....it's all the same with different numbers.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-25-2007 02:51 AM

Yep, San Migoo will cool you off after a hot day in the tropics -- or a lunch full of peppers.

rkzenrage 09-25-2007 07:25 AM

I was thinking Watley's actually.

Urbane Guerrilla 09-26-2007 01:50 AM

We got some Fat Weasel Pale Ale in today. We've taken to talking about putting the Weasels in the 'fridge. Only you can't hear the capital.

San Miguel Beer! Pariko Ariko! Spelled right? Help!!

Can anyone tell me why I sleep well after drinking beer and not red wine?

BigV 09-26-2007 01:22 PM

nitrates

Mockingbird 10-02-2007 03:17 AM

I'm confused by the beer + weed one. What is that, a lifesaver? Do I really turn into a flotation device every time I do that?

Urbane Guerrilla 10-03-2007 01:59 AM

No, that one's Beer + Weed = The Whirly Whirlies, 'round and 'round. [That's a roundabout sign. Rotary to those of you in Massachusetts.]

rkzenrage 10-03-2007 02:10 AM

I like Negro Modello sometimes, and I'm not a larger man much.
