Welcome to the Cellar Dwellar's Communications Center.

I officially welcome you to the place of hang-outs and hook-ups. Get-togethers and gatherings. Meetings and...you get the picture.

Gonna be somewhere that another Cellarite calls home and want to meet 'em? Set it up, and post your 2fer RFN pics here!!

So, since it's my idea (but not my thread of course;)) I'll start.

I was in Kansas City this weekend with my husband for a trip that he earned from work. I had a few hours to kill while he was golfing on Friday, so I got in touch with Elspode who met me for lunch. It was great, he's awesome. I could have talked to him all afternoon. This pic was taken by the doorman when Els dropped me back off at my hotel. Enjoy!

DanaC 09-10-2007 09:26 AM

How completely awesome! Wish I'd got a piccy of me and Sundae when we hooked up.

lumberjim 09-10-2007 09:28 AM

I thought this was gonna be about disease control. this is a better idea.

oh...and ....[mindreader] spode is very conscious that his right hand is mere inches away from labrats vaunted tucas[/mindreader]

Spexxvet 09-10-2007 09:30 AM

Now we know what it takes to get Elspode to smile - just get a hot babe to press up against him. You guys make a lovely couple.

Which makes me wonder, was it as good IRL as it appears to be onscreen? (I made sure to walk in front of him when I could;))

In your thong? :D

richlevy 09-10-2007 01:42 PM

While in Vegas I was thinking of meeting with Lookout or someone in the area, but I couldn't set anything up.

And yes, when I saw Labrat and CDCC, I thought disease control, but that might be because I just finished reading Darwin's Radio.

Um...better, even with khakis on. I have a pretty good memory for such things. In fact, as you were walking back up the ramp to the parking garage, I couldn't help but think of LJ's x-ray photoshop pic. I was, however (for you filthy minded scum out there in Cellarland), a perfect gentleman. And I was *not* thinking of her delectable morsels mere inches from my hand. I was still thinking of that damn thong picture...

Labrat is vivacious, friendly and just so wonderfully *real*. I picked her up at the hotel, and we started yapping like we'd known each other for years. The only time we stopped was to work on our sandwiches. I would have gladly spent the rest of the weekend with her. Actually, turns out I could have (sigh), but I'm pretty sure she and Mr LabRat made fine use of their short sabbatical...and no, "short sabbatical" is not a euphemism for "penis".

It was a lovely, and all too brief meeting.

PS - I almost forgot...you can't tell from her pics much, but LR has the most wonderful freckles! If she was any cuter I'd have taken her to the research lab just East of the Plaza and had her cloned so I could have one of my own.

LabRat 09-11-2007 08:42 AM

Your check is in the mail...

Cicero 09-11-2007 11:03 AM

We should kick-off a yearly national cellar convention. I need to buy a t-shirt anyway.

Can I get a second?

Oh and that photo is terribly cute.....looks like there is more fun to be had.

Elspode 09-11-2007 11:23 PM

There's always more fun to be had, Cic.

jester 09-13-2007 11:06 AM

It's great that you guys were able to get together. Awesome photo.

Elspode 09-13-2007 08:35 PM

It keeps getting batted around that we need to have an official Cellar GTG. If I could get *any* realistic idea of how many people would be interested in attending, I would be glad to reserve a hotel floor, arrange a meeting space, and take care of all necessary preparations to make it happen...here in KC.

KC is one of the cheapest places in the country to fly *into* from anywhere else. Since it *is* KC, our hotel rates are correspondingly lower than other more renowned burgs. We have great food, amazing art museums, and all the amenities such a gathering could require.

So here's my proposition. If you, fellow Cellarite, are *truly* interested in such a gathering, send me private email to elspode@comcast.net . Let me know what time of year (as specificially as possible, please, like a two week span in a given month), and I'll crunch the data and come up with a proposed time frame. Then, we'll re-ask who might still be willing to attend.

That'd be a start. What say ya'll? Answer by sending me the above info, and let's actually *do* this.

If we have just half the fun, as a group, that I had with LR over a mere lunch, imagine the various and sundry perversions and story telling that would result from a larger gathering!

zippyt 09-13-2007 10:25 PM

Sound like a plan to US !!!
Let me know what WE can do to help make this happen !!!!
I say Spring or fall ( Mid Oct or Mid April ) , so a camp fire will feel good !!! Cause I SOO want to sit around a camp fire with drinks and conversation with ANY cellerites that show !!!!

zippyt 09-13-2007 10:36 PM

Might I hummbly suggest a Cellar Cruise ????
Group rates and all that .

Undertoad 09-14-2007 10:56 AM

Initial review of the data shows that, for whatever reason, there are almost no direct flights from PHL to MCI, making it an expensive ticket or a 7 hour flight.

It is cheaper/shorter to fly to Vegas.

hint hint hint

LabRat 09-14-2007 11:01 AM

I know hubby and I would be in for a Vegas trip...

Elspode 09-19-2007 11:49 PM

I am actually planning a trip to Vegas at some point in early December to meet up with an old friend.

Spexxvet 09-20-2007 10:06 AM

Is your old friend's name........ Labrat? :eyebrow:

DanaC 09-20-2007 10:39 AM

Bollox. I'd really love that. But...no can do. Til I leave uni my budget really doesn't stretch to much beyond a week in a caravan in Whitby.

Can I suggest that if you do manage to pull this off (ooer missus!) if somebody were to film some of it and post it on the Cellar, us stay-at-homes can get a flavour of the gathering :)

[eta] given who's organising the gtg that suggestion may be a bit too hot to handle.....:P

No, unfortunately not, but the friend in question shares many of the same fine qualities as our beloved LR. Actually, she shares what will soon be one of Bri's qualities, namely, she has had breast cancer surgery, although in her case, it was a lumpectomy. She says that she has a boob and a half.

Know what? I'd still do her...a lot.

Aliantha 09-20-2007 08:22 PM

I think it goes beyond men still wanting to fuck you after you've had breast surgery. Women feel like they're unlovable because they don't feel whole again.

Having said that, I'm sure Els would realize that to be the case.

xoxoxoBruce 09-20-2007 09:17 PM

There's gazillions of men that lust after women with whole arms and legs missing, so what's a little missing tit.

I would hope and suggest that any man worth a dime would be more interested in the love he has for the woman than the love he has for a tit or lack there of. I am just saying if he will not fuck her because of a lack of a tit, fuck him, you don't need him.

Aliantha 09-20-2007 09:28 PM

yeah...well that's fair enough and I agree.

My point was more that the fucking is secondary or maybe doesn't even really rate to a womans self esteem if that makes any sense.

Elspode 09-20-2007 09:35 PM

I do have more than a little experience in the area of lack of self esteem. Damned thing is, try hard though I do to think I'm freakish, it just doesn't seem to turn out that way. I think one does have to keep open to opportunities to experience things that help prove that negative POV incorrect, though.

Aliantha 09-20-2007 09:38 PM

Well, I reckon we've all had a stroll down that street once or twice in our lives Els. You're no different than anyone else in that regard.

It's always good to keep an open mind, but I don't think sex is a consolation for much when you really look at it.

TheMercenary 09-20-2007 09:41 PM

Kink is good for a relationship.

monster 09-20-2007 10:16 PM

Bri, you're right. It's going to fuck up your sex life. BUT NOT PERMANENTLY. And it's probably a good thing. If you read raunchy fiction, you don't want "bodice-ripper" to pertain to mastectomy scars.

You're all right, Bri will still be as sexy as ever, but it will take time for her to feel as sexy as ever. But it will happen. I suspect we may need a ticketing system to manage the queue for those who want to show their appreciation of her sexiness when she's ready to hear it. I volunteer to hand out the timed tickets at a mere nickel a piece. I expect to be able to retire on the profits before the new year.

I see where you're going with it, but man, when you're really down on yourself or in a bad place in your life, having someone be interested in *you*, approving of you - i.e., wanting to do you - is a damn fine pick me up.

DucksNuts 09-20-2007 11:36 PM

Any time of year, but well, not the end of June...start of July.

*sigh* indeed. This is the punishment I get for having several windows opened onto the cellar, trying to let a little light in!

LabRat 05-07-2009 02:01 PM

I just met another dwellar today!! It was a very spur of the moment thing, so I didn't have my camera. Luckily, BrianR did so he'll post pics when he has a chance. We had to meet somewhere he could park his semi tractor sans trailer, so I suggested a park just off the interstate and only a 10 minute walk from my building. I got a chance to meet one of his trainees, a retired cop, and peek inside the cab. Even though it's surprisingly huge in there, I'd never be able to spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week in there...I'd go loony toones. Getting to see the whole freaking country on someone else's dime would be nice though.

Thanks for taking the time to meet me Brian!! I enjoyed our chat and appreciate you taking the time to stop!

LabRat 05-07-2009 02:08 PM

Wow, I just went back and reread this thread, talk about drift...

dar512 05-08-2009 08:51 AM

Lab,

You are such an upbeat and uplifting person. It's no wonder everyone loves you.

(The occasional pic is just icing on the cake)

Juniper 05-08-2009 09:18 AM

Brianna, you and I are going to have to get together again so we can post to thread. The photos of you are seriously lacking. :D Me, OTOH... ::shrug::

Anyone comes to Dayton, Bri and I better know about it.

LabRat 05-08-2009 01:27 PM

 @ dar512

I fear the people who actually *live* with me might argue, but thank you anyway! :D

BrianR 05-10-2009 12:16 AM

Juniper, I get to Dayton, it's on a major freight route for us.
pm me a number and I'll let you know the next time I come through.

Brianna that goes for you too.

BrianR 05-10-2009 12:19 AM

Upon much soul-searching, I have decided that I will wait to post the picture of labrat and I meeting until I get clarification on permission. I don't want to add to her difficulties at this time.

V, I got the picture resized myself. It took me a while to find my utility, it wasn't on the desktop where it should have been. Fixed it now.

xoxoxoBruce 05-10-2009 01:27 AM

Brian, the picture of you and Labrat is not a problem. If you read that entire thread you'll see it was something else.

Beestie 05-10-2009 02:00 AM

Brian - what Bruce said.

Labrat and Red need to work through some things. Things which do not involve or include the pic you are referencing.

BrianR 05-10-2009 10:21 AM

OK, I can follow that logic.

I somehow missed the part where LR said what her mistake was.

BTW, she should call me if she needs support, I've been there too.

xoxoxoBruce 05-10-2009 02:57 PM

I think she and Red have to work this out themselves.

Elspode 05-11-2009 09:23 PM

If my opinion matters at all, the pic is utterly innocent and harmless.
