Various Hobbies

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in, so if it needs to be moved I won't mind.

Couple of you wanted photos of the jewelery I make but my better "pieces" are in storage* at the moment and a little hard to get to.

So while I try and get ahold of those to get photos of that for you, I whipped up this thread to show off some of my photography which a few others of you asked to see. Here goes:

Note: I'm all paranoid about people stealing my work, so for the photos I think are good or just plain like, there is text on them "Please Don't Steal My Photos." I wouldn't think any of the cellar *members* would steal...but there are an overwhelming number of lurkers amongst us, don't tell LJ.

Wow, Razz, I like those! My favorite is that of the feet. They just make me feel relaxed and happy.

Razzmatazz13 09-10-2007 08:09 PM

Thanks so much case! You're like, my ego booster-rocket today :D

DucksNuts 09-10-2007 08:36 PM

Cool pics razz.

I love the one of the stone well and the underwater bridge

Razzmatazz13 09-10-2007 09:25 PM

Thanks Ducks, that's my uncle's old property, and my grandmother's pond, respectively :D

skysidhe 09-10-2007 10:45 PM

It's a good hobby. I like it too ....except I work to much to want to right now.

Razzmatazz13 09-11-2007 05:23 PM

Hah...oops not my kids...my ex-friend's sister's kid. No babies for razz.

Ibby 09-11-2007 08:29 PM

Ooooh! I love 'em. The first row is the best, I think. I really love the angle on the fourth one.

Griff 09-12-2007 06:27 AM

I love the corn planter shot in the first row, very well composed.

edit: oops Ibby was talking about the same shot! Your part of PA looks a lot like my part of PA. I sometimes need to be reminded about how nice it is here.

Does anyone else see the boobs resemblance in that pic?

Razzmatazz13 09-13-2007 09:55 PM

Which picture? I posted pictures of boobs? What? *goes off to look*

Got bored yesterday...was playing around with some paints...and had a few leftover globbies I hadn't used...I didn't want to waste them so I decided to see what I could make out of those little globbies on the paper plate I had them squirted onto. Here's the result...it turned out pretty cool :D

kerosene 10-05-2007 02:56 PM

Very nice, Razz. Forced limited palette...I like. Also, have you considered fashioning a keyboard into a frame? I hadn't until now, but I might, actually.

Razzmatazz13 10-05-2007 11:21 PM

lol...glad to have inspired you case :D

Mockingbird 10-06-2007 09:01 PM

I like the magma flair thing over on the right...it almost reminds me of a cheese sammich. :D Thank you for sharing, Razz.

Mockingbird 10-09-2007 09:43 PM

Case, I read your art blog. Could you let me know how that turns out with the buying printed copies of your work? I'd like to try that soon but I'm a little nervous.

kerosene 10-10-2007 09:18 AM

Yeah, I will let you know. I haven't ordered any, yet. Here on the cellar, last year, I believe we used zazzle for ordering T-shirts. Mine came out okay...the top of the image was cut off, but I chose a different shirt from the ones that were pre-designed. I don't know about prints, though.

I'm probably the only real fan of my husbands art...this is a part of his new series....I love it. I took some photos last night....he's never published anything over the internet but I got his permission last night to start doing it....

"This is the story of an artist....." *lisp*

Sorry about the low res.....

kerosene 10-10-2007 11:26 AM

Very cool, Cic. What is his medium of choice?

He really likes these french oil pastels.....These things are huge and shaped like a dil**. They are kind of sexy but anyway.....
:D

I bought him a lot of watercolors last year and he was really into it..but he keeps going back to the pastels. He usually uses whatever I'm buying.....poor thing. I even tried to make him use my old oil paints but that was a no go. He finally went out a couple of days ago and supplied hisself with what he likes. We finally have a studio (personal) for art and carrying on, so he and I are still in the "go in and just make an unholy mess" stage.
