Your material love

I love my flashdrive. It's my portable life. 2 gigs of my schoolwork and transferable media such as music or movies or clips I get from my friends that I put onto my desktop. I love my flashdrive. Got a quick material love?

Hagar 04-02-2007 03:22 AM

My GPS/MP4/MP4 player. Quick navigation with tunes and vids to watch at lunch. Easilly saves me 40mins a day.

DucksNuts 04-02-2007 04:53 AM

Too many...I love my cameras, ipod, slow cooker and my phone!!

elSicomoro 04-02-2007 08:49 AM

My iPod is probably my favorite...it goes with me everywhere.

wolf 04-02-2007 09:59 AM

I feel the same way about my Glock that sycamore feels about his ipod.

Awwww shoot I forgot about my iPod, cause I too take it everywhere. Good choice. Actually I change my material love to my iPod, it is better than my jumpdrive.

Bullitt 04-02-2007 10:47 AM

The new(ish) laptop
Or the Gascan Oakleys.. hmmmm

piercehawkeye45 04-02-2007 11:40 AM

My laptop and ipod. Other than that I could really care less what I have.

Clodfobble 04-02-2007 03:05 PM

What, Fresh? You mean to tell me it's not your cellphone??? What are you, old or something?

King 04-02-2007 03:53 PM

My PC. It was broken over the weekend and it felt like I had lost a limb. I had to re-format the hard-drive.:bawling:

jinx 04-02-2007 04:42 PM

I love my Jeep. My laptop is pretty ok too.

DanaC 04-02-2007 05:09 PM

My PC and my books.

bluecuracao 04-02-2007 05:16 PM

I love my new phone, a Katana in "sapphire blue." It's so purdy!

Sundae 04-03-2007 05:57 AM

My Pink Panther mug.
Honestly, I could just sit and look at it for hours. I don't even like the Pink Panther.

Other than that - nuffink.
I intend to divest myself of 90% of my possessions when I move in June, and I won't be sad to see them go.

duck_duck 04-09-2007 09:22 PM

My computer. I know I'm addicted to it but I don't care. :)

SCF, please. Clodfobble, you're a repeat offender, you should know better. *snort*

Oh, my material love? My Leatherman.

tissy_uk 04-10-2007 10:42 AM

My pc & my food mixer, I'm either on the pc or baking goodies. Such a full & enriching life. I'm full & my waistline is ever being enriched

Does a yard count as a material posession? I love my frigging yard.

freshnesschronic 04-11-2007 10:31 PM

Dang I'd hate to mow that every summer. But it looks good.

DanaC 04-12-2007 05:28 PM

Nobody in england would call that a yard:P That's a garden. Yards are paved.

Happy Monkey 04-12-2007 05:45 PM

Garden? Even if there's nothing but grass and the odd tree? I'd have thought "lawn".

duck_duck 04-12-2007 06:17 PM

That is an estate!

If there's a tiny handkerchief of grass and nothing else, it's a garden. If it's paved it's a yard:)

wolf 04-12-2007 11:14 PM

You Brits use language funny. A garden is a small area of the grass-covered yard that you plant flowers in instead of grass.

Undertoad 04-12-2007 11:26 PM

Flowers? That's no garden. Veggies and herbs!

DucksNuts 04-12-2007 11:39 PM

I'm going with *lawn* if 'spode is referring to his grass and *yard* if he means his space.

*Gardens* are flower beds to me.

Vegie *patch*

*Yard* is a fenced area.

rkzenrage 04-13-2007 01:41 AM

The only materials I love are on my wife.

tissy_uk 04-13-2007 04:19 AM

Spode!!! come & do my garden for me...please!!! Is not as big but no where near as neat. By the way anyone got a handy hint to get rid of brambles?? I have a rather lovely apple & blackberry tree

Elspode 04-13-2007 10:24 PM

My own yard progress is at a screeching halt. A ten day long stretch of foul weather has things on hold...that, after taking a bunch of my new plantings out.

Supposed to snow 3 inches tonight. Go figure.

Flint 05-21-2007 10:07 PM

Whatta yard, Els. You're not posing in that Green Man get-up.
