Merry Christmas You Lot!!!

I'm an hour early (for my neck of the woods), but I think I will be out cold before it arrives, so thought I would rather go early than not at all.

I've had a lovely festive season so far, our work doo was on Friday and we all ended up at my friends brothel afterwards. My dare (to receive my Christmas *bonus*) was to give oral sex to a banana and 2 kiwi fruit, followed by a song ON the bar.

Everybody has to do a dare to receive their Christmas bonus, its highy entertaining as there are no spouses allowed.

Other dares were, oral sex given to a chocolate eclair, my boss had to wear an adult fetish diaper, our workshop adviser had to dress in drag and do a number, a porn scene re-enactment (it was a golf ball scene from a very popular email)...you get the drift.

Really its been on party after another and I am (kinda) looking forward to getting some blood back in my alcohol veins.

Anyways, I just wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the upcoming New Year :D

Thanks heaps for the support and advice over the past year, for the laughs and the headaches. I've enjoyed it all.

Oh and side note, I havent managed to push him away yet, we are going away on a 4 day holiday after Christmas :worried: .

Blessings of the Season to all of, my friends...even those of you who think I'm scum.

My favorite Yule song:

Here's Comes the Sun - by George Harrison

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes...

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and I say it's all right
It's all right

Ibby 12-24-2006 06:40 PM

Ohhh man, guess who has a new 120-watt, two-speaker Laney amp roughly the size and weight of a piece of furniture?

Trilby 12-24-2006 09:53 PM

Holy Moley--I've got the freakin' hiccups!

DAMN!

skysidhe 12-24-2006 10:48 PM

(War Is Over) John Lennon

So this is Christmas
and what have you done
another year over
a new one just begun

and so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
the near and the dear ones
the old and the young
a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year
let's hope it's a good one
without any fear

and so this is Christmas (war is over...)
for weak and for strong (...if you want it)
the rich and the poor ones
the road is so long

and so happy Christmas
for black and for white
for the yellow and red ones
let's stop all the fight

a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year
lets hope it's a good one
without any fear

so this is Christmas
and what have you done

war is over - if you want it
war is over - if you want it
war is over - if you want it
war is over - if you want it

yesman065 12-24-2006 11:33 PM

thats just what I needed to read! I'm gonna be alone for the first time on xmas and its rather depressing. I got to spend today with my boys today (Sun) and that was great, but tomorrow will be kinda lame I'm afraid. Merry Christmas to all of you anyway - its been a great year and I hope the next one is even better for all.

DucksNuts 12-25-2006 12:02 AM

Whats your SO doing tomorrow (or today now? - bloody timezones)??

yesman065 12-25-2006 12:05 AM

She's gonna be with her family. My parents went to my sisters and the kids are gonna be with their mom. I guess I just had my Christmas a day early. What did you do/ are you gonna be doing/ for Christmas?

zippyt 12-25-2006 12:06 AM

My dare (to receive my Christmas *bonus*) was to give oral sex to a banana and 2 kiwi

Lucky guys !!!

oh kiwi fruit ;)

DucksNuts 12-25-2006 12:52 AM

My Christmas is done n dusted!!

Did the obligatory demolition of presents with the ruggies, then off to my parents for Christmas lunch.

Quiet one this year, as my family is scattered from the tip of Australia to the bottom...so they only make the trek every second year.

I knackered, so I think i will have a few quiet wines (as I appear to have been stood up again!!) and go to bed early.

We are off down the coast tomorrow for 4 days, so that will be lovely.

I cant wait to get up in the morning and pull all the Xmas deco's down. I'm soooo grinchie this year :D

Har Har Zippy :p. Its been a looooooong time, so I was secretly glad of the practice ;)

DanaC 12-25-2006 04:38 AM

Merry Christmas to everyone in the Cellar! My slightly dysfunctional second family:P

Here's a Boxing Day picture I took with my new Christmas present. Shame the weather was so dreary. This was just about ten minutes before it started raining.

Sundae 12-27-2006 12:56 PM

Oops, missed all this because I was off for Christmas. Back today, so happy belated Christmas and Boxing Day to you all too.

It's all over so quickly! Roll on New Year....

Great picture Glatt!

Pie 12-27-2006 01:11 PM

Happy December 27th. ahem.

Elspode 12-27-2006 02:12 PM

Ibram, if that's the present you're planning to send me next Xmas, I accept!

bluecuracao 12-27-2006 07:10 PM

Merry New Year!

CaliforniaMama 12-27-2006 09:37 PM

Ah, the Canadian Geese. Are they a problem everywhere now? Ours haven't figured out that they are supposed to fly south for the winter. They just hang out all year long leaving behind their tootsie rolls. Fortunately, none of my kids have ever mistaken them for such . . .

yesman065 12-27-2006 09:39 PM

Happy New Year everyone - How are you going to celebrate?

JayMcGee 12-27-2006 10:19 PM

i shall get pissed out of my mind. (no change there.....)

How about the rest of you?

Aliantha 12-27-2006 11:01 PM

I think we're staying in this year. Usually we go to a party with friends, but we wont have the kids this year, so...maybe we'll stay home and...practice. :)

Sundae 12-28-2006 07:45 AM

Stay at home
As usual (sob)

Have promised myself (for about the 5th year running) that this is the LAST New Years Eve I spend on my own.

Iggy 12-28-2006 04:29 PM

I don't know yet... I have one friend who is throwing a party but I don't think my SO wants to go to her house. I will call around to my other friends that he would like to see and find out if they are doing anything fun. Hopefully I will at least get drunk...

Oh, and a Happy New year to you all!!!

yesman065 12-28-2006 05:16 PM

I thought I might answer my own question too, but I have no answer right now. I am currently deciding whether to stay home with my son or go out with my girl. I may even end up staying home (or going out) with both my son and my girl.

Undertoad 12-28-2006 05:19 PM

How old is the lad?

yesman065 12-28-2006 11:04 PM

I'm 42 shes 24 and hes 16 - I know I know. let 'em fly!

CaliforniaMama 12-29-2006 01:49 AM

I think we've been invited to a party, but I have to check on that.

Usually we graze. Get all this weird finger food kind of stuff that we don't eat at any other time and just drag food out as we want it and snack the night away. Along with a good bottle of champagne and kid wine for the little ones.

If we stay home one of our amusements is to watch our kids try to make it to midnight!

We've been letting the kids start to watch Lord of the Rings (I still think they are too young), so maybe we'll have a marathon movie night . . . hey, that actually sounds like fun!

I love my new camera. I took off from work half an hour early yesterday and walked over to the White house to take some shots. Here's the National Christmas Tree (the one by the White House, not the one by the Capital.)

I also threw in a moon picture I took with no tripod. Took a few tries to get the exposure right, but I'm quite pleased with this camera.

steppana 12-29-2006 07:56 AM

Hand-held my ass

Great moon shot! And taken on Wenzdnesday if I'm not mistaken... Happy New Year, Cellar Pipple!

Actually, it was hand held. I took about a dozen, and this was the best. The others were either exposed wrong or there was too much motion blur. The shutter speed was pretty fast and the camera has image stabilization. That's one of the reasons I'm so happy with this camera. I've never taken a shot like this before.
