For More than Pretty
Sorry about that, considered yourself included. Your friend, Anonymous, was suffering from jet lag after a flight to Borneo and wrote the above post in a drunken stupor with a bey of Borneo babes distracting me. I'm not sure where I am now but it does still seem to be tropical, and the staff at the institution seem quite friendly.
To make up for my most inexcusable oversight, I shall make the following pair: More than Pretty and Jay McGee will one day knit the largest pure wool cardigan sweator the world has ever seen - a total of about 5,000 feet by 4,000 feet, and that's not including the arms. They will drop this sweator over afganistan where it will not only provide years of warmth for the grateful locals, but also do in Bin Laden who will happen to get hit in the eye by a quite large leatherette button. You and Mr. McGee with both be awarded pure bred Welsh Cardigan puppies by a grateful Nobel Committee. ;) |

My ego has it's own gravity it's so large. So what's the deal? |

Now if you wish to hire a team of monkeys and start your very own clone thread with the complete list of every dweller since 1492, you are more than welcome to do so. Anonymous wishes you luck in this endeavor. |

sometimes large ego'd guys are real nice.:thumb: |
why was the anonymous id used to create this thread, marichiko?

no, it just seemed odd to use anon for this. why would it cause a flame war? whatever. carry on
|
OK well since I was left off the first thread - I guess I'll try to respond to this one. Ok - MaggieL & Hippikos they will together create the most foolproof voting system that cannot be replicated nor cheated and be given honors by every voter . . . .
that isn't a Dem or a Rep. |
MaggieL and UG will invent a gun that only kills liberals.

lmfao@ that one ^

I want to abolish the death penalty, or make a sound wave that sets-off long hidden land-mines and distribute it freely to all sides, worldwide, making them obsolete. The US & our allies needs to quit using them, solidarity can kiss my ass. |
hrm...knit a huge sweater...
I don't think any sweater I knit will actually end up lookin anything like a sweater...but for you, Jay, and Afgahnistan I will try. No person has to actually wear it, so I think that we can work it out. Maybe I'll just hold the thread for Jay. Rkz...both are very good ideas and I'm with you on both. I can't public speak, so I'll write the speeches and you can give 'em for me. Also I think I could do a fair job of organizing protests and events. For the second idea I accidently sabotage any machine I touch, so I think that I'll let you handle all of the grease work but I'm willing to be your good little assistant, I have lotsa experience grabbing tools for my dad in the shop! |

Me and myself will make a team, thank you much.
We will seek to control the world's swelling population by boring people to death. Methods include mandatory study of self-written cathartic drivel and repeated viewings of meaningless photographs. $20 says I kill this thread. |

I've a notion that many though not all the guns in Girl Genius that aren't "lightning guns! Bwahahahahah!!" might possibly use a liquid propellant, metered in behind a solid projectile which is fed into the chamber by some feed mechanism that would be fairly familiar to us. They are repeaters, and the possible liquid charged variety is the one with the little green gas gauge where the operator can conveniently see it. The arms themselves don't seem to smoke any more than smokeless-powder ones do. You don't see cases flying, in general. Ignition of the charge is still a headscratcher, but I'm leaning towards electrical. Overall, not too unlike a naval rifle or a large artillery piece, writ small. Not all the GG guns have this feature; some seem to be cartridge arms -- DuPree's pistol, for one. With a cartridge, you have a convenient venue for a percussion primer. |
