Wading in....

Decided it was time to quit lurking and wade in...well...I'm normally a jump in with both feet type of girl, but I will attempt to ease in politely :)

ferret88 03-28-2006 06:15 PM

Welcome, and thanks for not wading in with eleventy-one new threads.

Flint 03-28-2006 07:00 PM

Really, the threads got your attention, now you know my name, and I've been soundly reprimanded for posting with unacceptable frequency. I did read "the rules" before even creating an account here, but this is still a trial period for me. So far, I like what I see.

LabRat 03-29-2006 08:53 AM

I have seen a mallard duck's hoo-ha, but never it's nuts. The Cellar strikes again! HA HA HA!:welcome:

SteveBsjb 03-29-2006 09:13 AM

Hiya Ms. Nuts. Welcome to Home Base! May I call you Duck?

LabRat... why are you looking at any animal's hoo-ha's?

Pie 03-29-2006 09:23 AM

Mostly 'cause they don't wear pants. :haha:

LabRat 03-29-2006 10:21 AM

When I was in grad school, and lived in married student hel...housing, I had a female mallard nest in my flowers by the front door both springs I was there. The male, with all his glory hanging out also hang around awhile. I have some pictures somewhere, old school style that I'd have to scan in if you wanted to see.
The funniest part is that at first, I thought he had been hit by a car or something, 'cuz there was this pink thing, kind of curly and amazingly long, hanging from below his tail. My husband about blew a gasket laughing at me when he told me that that wasn't intestines, but his penis.

DucksNuts 03-29-2006 05:03 PM

Seems I might just fit in here :)

Steve - you may call me whatever you like, I tend to answer to anything...yes, yes, I am a brave girl.

LabRat - May I please see the pics?? Hmm....I wonder what that says about me ??

DucksNuts 03-29-2006 05:09 PM

Oh...I thought I would clarify, I'm not from AG or any other 2 letter combination ex forum. :3_eyes:

Although, Audio Galaxy certainly kicked arse in the mp3 world for a good while.

SteveBsjb 03-29-2006 05:18 PM

Yes AG did kick ass with MP3 sharing; and the message boards were always fun. For some reason after they got shut down by the RIAA, they kept the boards open for a couple more years. A lot of fun Aussies on that site too!

thrillhouse 03-29-2006 05:22 PM

hello ducky :)

DucksNuts 03-29-2006 05:40 PM

Have you ever met a non fun Aussie???

Hello Thrill

Kagen4o4 03-29-2006 09:28 PM

where abouts in aus you from DNuts?

footfootfoot 03-29-2006 10:09 PM

I think I posted a while back about an encounter I had with a very polite, well dressed gentleman in my neighborhood. We were passing by on the street commenting on how warm the winter had been, (40s to 60s rather than -20 to -30) I wondered what the summer would bring and he replied:
"probably hotter than a duck's balls"
it took a minute for it to sink in, it was so out of keeping with his persona. He had already well passed when I got around to laughing.

I'd never considered a duck's balls before. I guess they'd be hot. What does that say about you Ducks Nuts?

BTW, welcome and glad you're wading.

DucksNuts 03-29-2006 10:17 PM

Sunny Victoria Kagen, North East to be a little more precise.

Kagen4o4 03-30-2006 12:04 AM

in the alpine region or closer to the border? spose its all moutains over there anyway. im in melbourne, the better, sexier sibling compared to the other capitals.

DucksNuts 03-30-2006 03:55 AM

Ahh Melbourne. Great place to visit, I am quite partial to a dose of smog twice a month.

I really should read the rules....did I overpost on my first day???

Kagen4o4 03-30-2006 06:01 AM

you did just fine.

but you didnt answer my question...

LabRat 03-30-2006 09:15 AM

I'll dig around and find 'em, then post them. Don't hold your breath, I'm not completely positive where they are. The 'photograph' drawer has been raided by Rugrat a few too many times.

How rude of me! Feel free to dish any punishment you deem fit.

To answer your question....I'm in the middle I guess. 30 mins from the border and 45 mins from the edge of the Alpine region. No mountains here though...there's not even a decent hill to be seen.
