any ideas? i am fully aware of the type writing monkeys, but are these official mascots?

could a mascot be a Cellarite? someone we can pick on and dress up and make them dance for our amusement?

There's a pic of the Yarra Valley Strawberry Festival pie eating contest in my newspaper today and the contestants are using their hands to shovel the pie into their mouths. Uncool, bro!
