Early Father's Day!!!
Early Daddy's Day Gift
Much better than the grinder I asked for.:D Cool thing is that they sell an adapter for 55mm lenses. Not just selling their own. So I can put my Cannon and off-brand lenses that I have on it with just $20, having many more options like fish-eye, while not having to spend $300 more dollars. Also love how the memory cards are so much less expensive now than they used to be. That flash has me drooling though. Nice going Kodak. The guy that sold it to me told me that he just spent $500 on a camera that has the same features, less a few, then this one comes out a few days ago, he was sorta' laughing. |
SWEEEET !!!!!

No kidding!
(Mom got a bonus... this was part of what she got the wheelchair with. She could not wait until Father's Day. I ain't bitchin' bout' it) |

no kidding , last year I bought a FujiFilm S5100 ,4 mega pix, 10x zoom , no hot shoe , and I can't swap lenses , but it still takes NICE pics , http://static.flickr.com/26/41086953_17ce76cc9a.jpg |
You are right about that.
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly things become less accessible and less expensive. |
Is that mrs. zippy? Or just a fishing buddy?
|
It's the image stabilization Zip, that will send you off to get a new cam.
|
Gods, that thing is beautiful. I *want* it.
/me drools |

Nope , just some nice scenery that was floating down the Spring river . It's the image stabilization Zip, that will send you off to get a new cam. Oh I agree , BUT that also starts getting out of my price range Gods, that thing is beautiful. I *want* it. /me drools ;) |
First day
I need to disable the flash more often during the day I see. Some of these really need more contrast. Do you have to use Kodak dedicated memory cards to get all that info?
|
Nope. Don't remember the brand and I can't walk today, but that is the #1 thing about this that freaks me out, I have a 2G card. It was about $15 more than the 550 Kodak card, what a rip-off!

Even my older Kodak (more expensive, less features, damn it) does complete metadata. That funciton is media independent.
|
I think it may be the host site that has the ability to list it all.
Really diggin' Flickr. If you go to the first link I posted you can look at all of that on each pic posted there. |
Purchased the lens adapter today, but will not be buying the lenses from Kodak. They are insanely expensive. Getting them from my local shop.
Have no choice on the flash, it is the only one that works with the camera. It will be nice if my current fish-eye fits it. My father has the same camera. We got him one too and will be getting him this as well and a reasonable wide angle. |
