I wish I had a pic of Diz to justify this post.

Jasper has a new friend. Lumpy Paws was my mother's teddy bear and he has recently come to live with us.

Mostly, when I post pics (or recently, videos) of the Pilster, he's aware of the camera and comes across as wary or hangdog; even out on our walk, if the camera is in my hand.

I wanted you to see Pilau how i see him; how he is most of the time. The only way to really do that is to set the camera up somewhere without him seeing it and then do my damndest to 'forget' it's there, so I don't accidentally clue him in to its presence :p

Here then is a little snippet of Pilau's afternoon. Most of which involved bisuits and playing.

Clearly aware of where you are, and what you're doing, at all times.

DanaC 04-03-2010 09:30 PM

Always :P

OUCH! Griff and Nirvana, your poor dawgies.

Limey, I love that pic. Jasper is gorgeous.

Dana, such fun times with you and Pil

I know! *grins* he's quite playful still, for an old man :) You wouldn't think he was 11 years old.

Carruthers 04-04-2010 02:47 PM

Well, he's not mine but I do look after him three days a week and also when the owners go on holiday.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the mighty Bruno.

He certainly looks well cared for.

DanaC 04-04-2010 06:06 PM

Handsome beastie!

Nirvana 04-05-2010 02:02 PM

I hope you are giving Bruno some minty dog bones! ;)

Being a Labrador he'll eat anything - and frequently does!
Last summer he consumed most of a 1kg bar of chocolate that had been left in an accessible place by one of the owner's kids.
I'll spare you the gruesome details, but the vet had to administer an emetic as his system wouldn't have been able to handle all the Theobromine in the chocolate. I'm told that there was evidence of him having consumed rather more than 'just' the chocolate. He came to stay with us for the rest of the day and looked rather sorry for himself to say the least. It didn't put him off chocolate as he tried the same trick a couple of weeks ago, although things didn't go too far this time.
