These are actually worse than those other (big) guns. Since it's black powder, almost ANYONE can pack this almost ANYWHERE. Legally. This one is in .45.

Isn't that the same style of derringer that Booth used to shoot Lincoln?

"Pack it" as in carry it? Concealed-like?

Looks the same to me, but according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Deringer, "Booth's Deringer was unusual in that the rifling twisted counterclockwise (left-handed twist), rather than the typical clockwise twist used on most Philadelphia Deringers."

I don't know about concealed. But, my federal probation officer said black powder weapons are OK for me to 'carry' and possess. If concealed, it may qualify as a 'concealed deadly weapon', like a knife in a belt sheath under you shirt-tail. The knife itself may be legal, concealing it will get you a room at the Graybar Hilton.

As a side note, I live in Kentucky. Here, if you are not a felon, you can carry a pistol on your hip (as long as it's not concealed) with no license or permit required. Called 'Open Carry', I believe.

Was unfamiliar w/.400 Corbon, so I wiki'd it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Cor-Bon ammo, I'd heard of (and used), but I didn't know it's founder's name was 'Peter Pi'. Juvenile humor I know. But, there it is.

That goes on my List of Unfortunate Names.

Kum bay ya, my lord, kum bay ya.

Or some such bullshit.

Undertoad 02-19-2010 10:22 AM

In my experience, that weapon is only cool on one side.

Shawnee123 02-19-2010 10:23 AM

But it's flippable! Like me!

Until it breaks. Damn feathers like to choke you to death.

Heyyyyyy, wait a minute!
