And I squeak by with a win...thank you Selvin Young and Greg Williams!!!

Griff 09-09-2008 05:47 AM

I just slipped by as well. Adriam Peterson almost got there.:thepain: I think I had a couple weeks last year like UT's, second most points in the league and no joy.

As of Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, Chad Ocho Cinco will go back to being Chad Johnson in the player pool pending official NFL approval. Please keep that in mind when you are looking for him.

elSicomoro 09-15-2008 12:36 AM

Motherfuck...Jay Cutler has a career day, and I had him as a backup. :mad2:

Griff 09-15-2008 05:19 AM

Same with Rivers. I figure he'd get skewered without Tomlinson. Goats have to blame their coach this week.

Undertoad 09-15-2008 08:26 AM

I will be trading TE Shockey for a WR. If you need a #1 TE who will certainly do better than he did this week, please look over your WRs and find me somebody who can put up 10 points a week. You may have to give up your #2 WR for such a fine TE, but you know it will be worthwhile.

elSicomoro 09-21-2008 10:39 PM

Man, I limped to a win this week. Totally forgot to check my lineup before the games started today. Come Tuesday, I will be prepared to rock and roll.

lumberjim 09-21-2008 10:58 PM

i suck.

Griff 09-22-2008 05:34 AM

Who knew goats were smelly?

Hey, a win is a win.

Westbook's injury really cost me. He got me 21 points the first week, 27 points last week, and 1 point this week before he left the game with an injury. Hope he gets better.

Undertoad 09-22-2008 07:33 AM

This is kinda fun: if the Jets shut down SD's passing game, and SD doesn't wind up kicking 3 FGs, I probably win. Otherwise W.HI.P wins. Chances are good he gets the 18 points he needs, out of a WR, TE, and K, all San Diego players. But it'll be close.

lumberjim 09-22-2008 08:13 AM

did I mention that I suck? I benched the Eagles D this week, and they scored 31 freakin points. cost me the game. cock!

classicman 09-22-2008 08:30 AM

lol - you deserved that one.

Its a done deal UT, the only Chargers option I don't own is Chambers.
I can't believe you're starting out 0-3...Like WTF?
I had you pegged as the favorite from the division.. Peterson and Turner are of the absolute elite.

You would have won if you had started Ronnie Brown(4 TD's!).

I'll trade you for Adrian and Chad... make me an offer for who you want from my team. We both own one too many superstar RB's.

We're all well aware that you suck LJ.
Be advised, no team will be able to run against this Eagles D.
Bench them if they're up against a passing team though.

Undertoad 09-22-2008 09:10 AM

Yeah MIA just rode the guy to crush NE, 38-13. And he goes and puts up 41 fantasy points. You just never know. PLUS I had the NE defense, so they got a big fat 0. The sensible thing to do was probably to play both.

I have to think Chad will come around, I have too many average WRs right now, it's my weak point.

yeah.....you still betting against the cowboys?

W.HI.P 09-22-2008 09:25 AM

LJ, the last time I bet against the Cowboys, I won:
Quote:

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys(-7.5)

I'm not the kind of guy who lays money down on his favorite team for cheering purposes.
These teams are more closely matched than most people think.
The Eagles are in form at this time.
The Cowboys are the bookies money maker this year.
A lot of people are gonna lose a lot of money on Dallas this year.
Monday night game?

Bet on the Philadelphia Eagles
These past 2 weeks have been amazing.
I was so pissed off last week cause I bet half the amount of money than I normally bet and won, so this week I bet more than double my usual and it looks like its gonna be an even better week than last week, so it more than evens out......Goooo Chargers!

btw...have you noticed the records of all the teams involved in this heavy weight division?

3-0
3-0
2-1
2-1

lumberjim 09-22-2008 09:49 AM

in this thread, I am 0-3. peyton has been abysmal, i have no good wide outs, and my running attack is average at best. i still enjoy it though.

bluecuracao 09-22-2008 10:27 AM

Okay. I don't understand how I can have one score after all my games end, and then a totally different score the next day. WTF, FF! How did I lose seven points?

You lost 8 points on the Packers defence.
Be advised that some stats on defence are not updated live.
They're added on after tha game is over....this might take time

He's fine, He'll play in Chicago, although his fantasy points should be limited as he faces the best D in the game.
It looks like you need a Running back.
I'd take Donovan Mcnabb and Larry Fitzgerald from you for Campell and your pick one of my RB's.
Send me a trade offer.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm very pleased with both my guys.

jinx 09-25-2008 07:57 PM

Ratter! Fix your damn team up... you've got men down/on bye...

LabRat 09-26-2008 08:54 AM

Gah!!

Will check it out on lunchbreak. Merci.

zippyt 09-26-2008 09:05 AM

Every things Fine Rat , Just leave things the way they are ;)

glatt 09-26-2008 10:03 AM

I'm actually starting to care about this thing. I find myself checking all week to see if my injured stars are healthy yet or if I have to activate my reserve players. Next thing you know, I might be watching a game.

LabRat 09-26-2008 01:18 PM

OK, so I checked out the FF page. Yikes. I have some homework to do this weekend. BTW, I have an image for my helmet. Is it too late to make one? I can have it here Monday.

C'mon, c'mon, I'm not that stupid. :p Just busy. I printed off the rules, glossery, and FAQ's to read over the weekend. I asked Red to help me, but because I didn't have my current lineup, he said it would be pointless. So I didn't have a chance to get it fixed.

My daughter had colored a picture of football players the other weekend when we were watching some game, and I just thought it would be cool to scan in and make my helmet pic. Friday the pic was at home, and the scanner is at work, so the first time I'd be able to get it in electronic form would be today. --Which is moot, because I forgot to bring it in anyway.

lumberjim 09-29-2008 01:58 PM

yeah. but.....you left LT out for no apparent reason. he scored 20+ points...

not that you would have beat zippy, but at least fill up your line up for cock's sake

Undertoad 09-29-2008 02:05 PM

i'm on track for an 0-12 finish

lumberjim 09-29-2008 02:26 PM

not if you play me at all this year.

LabRat 10-02-2008 08:06 AM

OK, OK. My team has players that are supposed to be healthy, and actually playing this week. Watch out hippies, prepare thyselves for a Ratpack smackdown. Mwa ha ha ha ha !!!!

bluecuracao 10-05-2008 04:46 PM

I thought I was being all slick at 12:30 today, noticing that my QB was ill and replacing him at the last minute. But now I see my replacement was benched. :sniff:

And I see that Griff has a bunch of games yet to be played tonight...hooo boy, I'm in trouble.

Griff 10-05-2008 04:48 PM

Don't forget though, goats are sucky.

bluecuracao 10-05-2008 05:02 PM

Eh, eagles were sucky today too!

elSicomoro 10-05-2008 05:37 PM

Barring an explosion from Hines Ward tonight, I might actually win this week.

jinx 10-05-2008 06:53 PM

I plan to remain undefeated this week, despite Rat's much improved team.

lumberjim 10-05-2008 07:21 PM

isn't it cute when women trash talk....they're so polite about it.

bluecuracao 10-05-2008 07:24 PM

Overall, the trash talk has been far too polite. What the hell is wrong with you people.

Clodfobble 10-05-2008 07:37 PM

Hell, I've been planning to remain undefeated this whole time!!

edit:

holy hell.. i just looked at your team...

wall to wall talent...you should be 4-0 wtf?

Undertoad 10-05-2008 11:51 PM

Everybody underperforms on target, is what. Plus I had the worst QB pick in Bulger, I had Shockey who did nothing and then got injured...

I see what you did there UT. Convince the newbie he's got great talent on his team so you can cream him in week five. Pretty sneaky.

McNabb's performance seems to be tied to the share price of Wachovia.

elSicomoro 10-06-2008 09:12 AM

Motherfuck! Hines Ward comes back with a solid performance. Now I just need Ryan Longwell to kick 3 extra points or one field goal tonight and I'll gladly give your ass back to you, Pete. ;)

lumberjim 10-06-2008 09:31 AM

i heard he got benched

Clodfobble 10-06-2008 05:02 PM

I'd just like to point out that my record is 3-1, which puts me tied for third place across the whole league. Strategize and maneuver all you want, when it comes down to it, it's all just throwing darts.

lumberjim 10-06-2008 06:25 PM

it's more than that. I appreciate your postion, but I made several moves and my team has improved drastically. There is an element of randomocity that makes it somewhat cromulent. I mean....who expected Huard to get negative points this week?

In your face! We both suck.

I didn't realize that RBs and WRs don't get credit for return tds. Anybody want a slightly used Reggie Bush or Santonio Holmes? Well maybe I'll keep Holmes.

jinx 10-07-2008 10:15 AM

5 - 0

Pete 10-07-2008 01:32 PM

OK Syc. I'm calling you for piling on, unsportsmanlike conduct, hurting the feelings of the poor little cute ponies, and utter Belichickosity. Hell, you only needed 3 points. Geez.

Did anyone notice that the Ponies consistently have among the most points in the league every week but they still have a losing record. Not that I'm getting whiney or anything.

i said as much to griff. your team is as strong as 8 acres of garlic on paper.

and you're doing the right things with them:

Record: 2-3-0 (L2)
Coach Rating: 97 (1st)...this has to do with getting the most out of your available players
Schedule Difficulty: 3rd
Passing Rank: 8th
Rushing Rank: 5th
Receiving Rank: Tied for 6th
Defense/ST Rank: 11th
