apart from maybe 3 songs[magical mystery tour, lsd and straberry fields forever], i don't like the beatles at all, but the stones, my my, so many amazing tunes in so many decades.

I like the dead and all, but Skynyrd have my vote. Too many Dead songs just kinda flounder instead of keeping the groove going like Truckin' does, but all of Skynyrd's sonds just kick major ass.

And nobody can write a song (or an album) like Rodger Waters, and only about five people can play guitar on the level of David Gilmour. The Who's songs don't speak to me (get it?
