I would do an eye to demo now, but I'm way too drunk and tired at this point (yes it's Monday, sometimes you need to drink on a monday)

Woo! The paint has dried on the last item, which means I'm officially done with all three costumes! (Cute as it would be, the baby doesn't get a costume because she's just going to be sitting in the stroller and no one will see her anyway.) Here's hoping Minifob is no longer sick by the time Friday rolls around.

Point taken Monster.
I'll do another rehearsal and bear that in mind. I do think it will look a lot more dramatic on pale skin though.

Just for the record - with make-up and without make up.

Liquid Liner wins!! :)
Now where are all the photos of monsters costumes?

Well done Laurie & son!

Now. Back to me.
Close up of eyes taken tonight.
I have to work on the fact that I get red glitter on my cheeks when I apply it to my eyes, but I can just hold a tissue over my face next time.

Obviously the difference in my lids gives two different perspectives.

classicman 10-28-2008 03:54 PM

lol @ monster - I just got this mental image of you "building" the costumes at the last moment.

jinx 10-28-2008 05:00 PM

Looks good SG, but I would go heavier with the liner...

So.... i've been buying the bits and pieces for the costumes for a couple of weeks now.... but I didn't actually start on the costumes unril 1pm today (yesterday, i guess..... Thursday 30th). but I'm all done! easy peasy, no 3am panicking for me this year! So happy. About 5 hours work for 3 costumes and $15 spent.

Here are the raw materials and the in progress jet-pilot's breathing apparatus.....
