So...what color was the freakin' bear?

Should we answer one riddle before going on to the next?

KinkyVixen 10-12-2006 03:58 PM

I think it's easier to follow that way Bri...but it's whatever...

It's white. It's a polar bear, because following those hunting directions, the camp can only be located at the North Pole.

mrnoodle 10-12-2006 04:06 PM

The bear is black.

What color was the bear?

Wasn't that in one of Larry Niven's Dreampark novels? I think it was in the introduction to The California Voodoo Game, and that Captain Cipher gave some mathematical details of the answer.

You're in a room with no doors or windows. In that room is only a table with a mirror on top of it. How do you get out?

Through the looking glass?

Spexxvet 10-13-2006 05:31 PM

I won't be around for the weekend, so here's the answer:

You looked in the mirror and saw what you saw. You took the saw, sawed the table in half. Two halves make a whole (hole), and you climbed out the hole. ;)

for 10/17

From wood it's made,
From string it's made,
It floats upon the wind.
It's made by one,
It's made by many,
From hands and mouths it spins.
A score without a game.
A staff not for the lame.
With seven letters tamed.
With five letters it’s my name
