A couple of years ago, I had a friend at work.One of those sweet swayable teenage girl-types who was expecting, but the father of said sprog didn't want to know.

I almost succeeded in convincing her to call her child 'Asbo' (if a boy) or 'Asbette' if a girl.In the end she ran with something else, but I felt mine were both valid choices.

(In the UK, ASBO='Anti Social Behaviour Order' :D )

Im reactive to names, and I relate to what the name makes me think...like strong, wishy washy

Astrid - nope, too cartoony
Canyon - hmm, no, but I guess its no worse than River?
Cloud - undecided
Crimson - No! It sounds evil for some reason.
Darby - love it, there's a girl in T's class called Darby.
Delyth - doesnt sound like a name to me
Echo - what? guaranteed to butt kicking
Gaia/Gaius - Battlestar Gaius?
Guthrie - its OK
Halcyon - sounds Treki-ish
Iona - I like it
Mab/Maeve - I love old fashioned names
Meru - no
Rhythm - no
Auryn - Its nice
Xanthe - I like it
Thea - not my style
Revel - I kinda like this
Celedon - no
Cerulean - no
Dresdan - dresdan doll?
Rhys - luv Rhys!! its a strong name
Eris - its a nothing name
Silvio - no no no
Declan - like it a lot
Luka - it makes me screw my nose up
Malachi - like it
Quetzl - no no no, hard times ahead for that child
Pagan - no
Rune - I can see prune jokes and jokes about giving people the shits
Beran/Beren - nothing name
Blaise/Blaze - I like Blake better than Blaze
Dario (Darius) - Darius yes, Dario no
Danilo - reminds me of a cleaning product
Dermell - Darnel yes.
Harper - Love it for girl or boy
Sterling - to soap opera-ish
Silver - no
Teru - nothing name
Rio - no way
Indigo/Inigo/Vigo - like Indigo
Ander - strong name
Beckett - dont know
Blake - YES
Dashiel - Ive heard this before, I like the nick name Dash
Dayo - daylight come and we wont to go home?
Dax - I like Paxton, and Pax but not Dax
Drake - not too bad if he wants the nick name Duck

Flynn - love Flynn and Finn.
Jace - sure, its nice, not very special
Jett - Love Jett and Rhett.
Kal - like it, its my brothers name

Malachai/Chai/Kai - I like Malachai

Tirso (family name) - dont know

Ty - its ok
Val - for a boy? OK

I love the name Gaius: though he'd be likely to hate it as a child (too close to gay) he'd probably appreciate it as an adult.
