Peter Tork?

Elspode 06-23-2006 03:10 PM

Okay, I guess I get to do another one...lessee....

What did Tony Kaye do many years before becoming the late-80's/early 90's keyboardist for Yes?

Shawnee123 06-23-2006 03:21 PM

Taught high level math?

He attended grade school. ;)

Undertoad 06-23-2006 04:27 PM

Before he was the keyboardist for Yes, he was the keyboardist for Yes.

Elspode 06-23-2006 04:49 PM

...and in-between, The Buggles. UT wins!

Undertoad 06-23-2006 09:38 PM

You sure about that Buggles?

Elspode 06-24-2006 12:47 AM

Nope. I was confused. I will claim that I was still using mind altering substances in those days, and managed to confuse Geoff Downes' stint with Yes with Kaye's.

I surrender my music trivia question-posting rights as penance.

Undertoad 06-24-2006 12:54 AM

Well you've just answered my trivia question correctly.

But, if you're really surrendering,

Only one Elvis Costello song ever charted in the US as a single. Which one?

Ibby 06-24-2006 01:11 AM

Every Day I Write The Book.

...Either that or Allison.

Undertoad 06-24-2006 01:15 AM

Right the first time, well played

Ibby 06-24-2006 01:22 AM

this one's a double question; only ONE needs to be answered.

A.) What colour is Mick Ronson's guitar? Google Image Searching IS okay for this.

B.) What is the only style of guitar playing officially named after a person?

Elspode 06-24-2006 09:22 AM

Well, the pics' quality is widely varied, but I finally found a good shot of a blonde/natural finished Les Paul Custom, which seems consistent with most of the other live pics I saw (where I thought for awhile it might have been a goldtop).

Ibby 06-24-2006 04:33 PM

BZZZZT. Incorrect.

JayMcGee 06-24-2006 06:00 PM

b. django'esqe?
