Well folks, today I ...

was charmed by a film clip of farming folk and fiddle playing brought to my attention by a Swedish friend;

was appalled to discover that the source of the bluebottles in the house was the two-day-old corpse of a hare on the back doorstep brought to me by my cats;

was thrilled to find that my new purple Doctor Marten's ankle boots (brought to me by the postman) are very comfy;

was delighted to have my quote for a 5,000 word translation (brought to me by the internet) on the subject of road building accepted, so I really should be working now!

Well?

Yesterday ...
I was charmed by the film (classic, I think you were picking one true thang, but it's the falsie you should be after!);
I was appalled by the two-day old corpse of a hare on the doorstep;
I was thrilled with my new boots (and panties!?);
but I got the translation job last December and it's long gone now!

So JINX is the WINNAH!

Holy crap... I was just batting clean up... uh, ok.....

1. I drove a cube.
2. I left the orchard empty handed, informed that the apples trees just didn't blossom this year.
3. I saw Johnny Knoxville from Jackass at Outback Steakhouse in Frazer.
4. I walked 6 miles.

It's possible that Johnny Knoxville would be in the area because that Bam Margera is from around here.

It's possible that Jinx from a cube because Jimmy and Nissan are related.

It's possible that Jinx walked six miles because she regularly does such physical exercise.

I voat that moar is correct

monster 10-02-2009 09:56 PM

well I think so too. but to really play the game, you gotta pick one that hasn't been taken already.......you never know...

Pie 10-02-2009 09:56 PM

I think she put her foot down about the cube. I mean, come on, have you seen the damn thing?? Fugly.

fair point there, pie.

Clodfobble 10-02-2009 09:59 PM

That leaves Johnny Knoxville? I'll take it. Maybe I'll get lucky by batting cleanup just like jinx did!

jinx 10-02-2009 10:02 PM

Yeah, it was Johnny. I've seen him there, but not recently...

The orchard thing was a bummer. Guy claimed its a problem all over - but then I went to walmart where they had 6 or 7 varieties, lots of them, for $1/lb. We're making applesauce for cooking class...

Clod wins it.

monster 10-02-2009 10:04 PM

:lol: sorry about the apples, though. I went to walmart tonight -brutal.
