Happy belated birthday Ali - if you're middle-aged at 35 then that says I should be digging something oblong and deep! No way middle-aged - heavens, you're barely past being a teenager!

I didn'd realize this was the 'official' birthday thread.

Happy Birthday everyone. :celebrat:

80 divided by 2 = 40.
40, +5, -5, = middle decade.

Maybe cycle meant medievel-aged, so Ali's not even close. :p

Happy belated, Ali. Hope it was a good one.

According to the OED middle age is "... the period between youth and old age, about 45 to 60."

So you've got a ways to go.

Shawnee123 06-11-2007 09:59 AM

Cool. I'm still a yute, and Ali is even yuter! :)

45 years of youth and 20 years of old age? Silly.

I would think that middle age should be the middle third of one's life. I'm planning to live to 169, so my personal middle age will start at about 58.

xoxoxoBruce 06-11-2007 10:30 AM

169? So far, so good.

Cyclefrance 06-18-2007 08:17 AM

Thanks all - you're better than me at remembering other people's birthdays - but at least I can put my lapses down to senility! Jeezus! - 60 sounds so ancient!!

Clodfobble 06-18-2007 09:14 AM

Happy birthday CF!

Shawnee123 06-18-2007 09:52 AM

I was sure I posted a Happy Day earlier. Anyway, Happy Day! :)
