I took myself far too seriously for far too long (my problem with the "straight" singing to camera shots was that it looked like I still did)

I've been encouraging him to play and sing one of his own songs. Maybe I'm just starstruck, but I've always been extremely impressed with Els ability and tallent. So are many other people, but he remains extremely humble.

He used to sit around on a Fri or Sat evening a play guitar for me, but lately has taken to leaving his guitar over at the house where he practice with his band because he doesn't want to tote it back and forth :neutral: . I miss being able to sit all stary-eyed and enjoy his playing.

He's actually very good.

Oh the humanity! And here I am breaking down and transporting bass, snare, toms, hardware, cymbals, throne, sticks/accessories, etc. etc. etc.

Once I get the sunroom set up for musical use, I, too, will be transporting bass, acoustic, electric, processors, guitar synth, mics and stands back and forth.

It's enough to make you build a practice studio at your house. That's what I'm doing. Basically "if you guys wanna practice, I'll see you here..."

Unfortunately, that's what one of our other band members has already indicated, and so I commute.

Why don't you start a new thread for this? I think I'd like to re-do the ones I did after actually having practiced them, and maybe ad one or two more. I'd also like to hear mrnoodle do alittle shredding, and I know stevedallas and griff and dar all play too. this is kind of cool. maybe in your new thread, give instructions to put 'cellar' in the tag lines on youtube, so we can all come up on a search. :twocents:

I've been meaning to video some of my one-handed drum chops (while holding baby in other arm).

I believe we should just put those in the "Creative Expression" thread which already exists. Nothing there says that interpretive cover versions of stuff don't qualify, right?

In the meantime, don't hold your breaths. And stop making that face, and quit shuffling while I'm talking to you.

You're disgusted beyond belief... however you cannot help but notice my bulging muscles, meaty head and bulging banana hammock. You're still disgusted but incredibly interested. Then the nerd starts to vomit up a bit of sand. This causes your stomach to turn but you absolutely have to see more...

i think i was 19 going on 20 and jinx was 17 going on 18. this was taken before we were actually together. the girl on the left (gina) was the same gina from the tour thread. it was her house i was at attending a party when i saw jinx for the first time and wondered what dating her would be like. I remember that day pretty well. jinx and i were flirting, although we were both dating other people. i was dating Jen (not pictured...or present, i think) and she was dating Dale. ( you should ask jinx about our prom date arrangement) We 'got together' at the end of that summer while attending the Schwenksville Folk Festival, on my 20th birthday. I guess that makes it 1990, not 89.


as for the dark spot......i had a pair of shorts that had blown out, and i had patched with a velvet Swan Song emblem. Jinx thinks those are the shorts. like this, but without the 'led zeppelin' across the top

Post Tuna fishin '05 I forgot to add a couple things.
1) Thats my dad with shining head.
2) My youngest son is in the background pissed that he didn't come on this particular day.
3) Notice the gash on the tuna's back caused by it swimming right under the boat and catching the prop. Luckily for me too, I was tired & spent by then.
