we had sushi today. yum.

our favorite local chinese restaurant recently renovated and added a sushi bar. score!

I went home for lunch and had home made thick pork chops, soup, and rice my wife cooked for me, and it was damn good. :)

there's a buffet on the south side that's pretty freakin' good. their sushi is fresh and good. but your right for the most part, your playing russian roulette.

there is a place over in Kemah that's a BAD ASSED sushi bar called ichibans. doing a web search i see that they have restaurants here and there throughout the country.....

It may not be a chain, as "Numbah One" is a pretty common Name for Japanese Restaurants.

Especially since it can also mean "best."

sushi from buffet = BAD - most don't have the equipment to keep it at the proper temperature = BACTERIA BREEDING GROUNDS. (P.S. - sushi at a Chinese restaurant? I though Sushi was Japanese......but whaddo I know.....)

The Chinese buffet restauraunt I sometimes go to has everything from your standard American Chinese fare to lasagna, salmon, sushi, ribs, crab legs, roast chicken, soft serve ice cream, and all sorts of random stuff.
