can you get the old colors back? the alternating grey and white, no fade in title bars, no title bar contrast per each post, etc?

I'm getting used to it. But the one thing that's still driving me nuts is I wish I could have the user name to the left of each post again instead of above it. It breaks up the flow for me otherwise. But otherwise it was a great upgrade, very smooth.

Yeah, I agree and now we have a day or so to really evaluate what people think. It can only be one or the other, no matter what happens with the overall style of the board.

Here's one vote for keeping them on the side. It really saves the scroll wheel.
