Yes. My MIL is a gem. She has my favorite foods stocked in when we're in town and makes cinnamon rolls or cinnamon bread for breakfast. She has never interfered in our lives and loves me to death.

I never had a MIL. Ex's mom died when he was 4. Stepmonster, not the nicest person ever I am told, died just before we started dating.

But I think MY mom was a good MIL. Not the meddling kind at all, very supportive no matter what.

My MIL is awesome, but she still drives me nuts. I don't know what it is.
