HA! I saw him trying to get on the log, but kind of slip. It looked like he put his head down and just said "Screw it, I'm going somewhere else" and swam away.....why is this so exciting?

I can't see the turtle. It's too dark.....Maybe it's past turtle bedtime.

Baskingcam is back up tonight, until 9:30 EST (next hour and a half), the lad is happy there because I gave him a higher wattage heat bulb. He may be basking right up to lights out.

I was looking at the meat thermometer earlier, but I couldn't tell if he was done yet. You might need a bigger light bulb.

I checked on him last night. He looked happy. Am I anthropomorphizing? No, that is one damn happy turtle!
