My roommate next term has the same hair, SG. same cut, same colour. Well, I think she's redyed it since, but it WAS that colour at least...

@Bri and Rich: Thankyou! What lovely things to say. Though, the hair is probably mainly courtesy of the camera's portrait setting...haven't washed it in over a week. Am hoping eventually it'll decide to detach itself from my head and go wash itself!

@ Cloud: I know, isn't that just the most amazing colour? I'd love to be able to go for something that vivid. On the occasions when I buy a hair colour, I always end up with the mildest one available. Partly 'cause of allergies, but also partly because I just don't quite have the nerve lol. But I always stand there for a little while looking at the bright colours and thinking of Sundae, and a little part me always thinks....one day maybe...

Except that it would never suit me quite so well as it suits Sundae. Her colouring and complexion can take it. Difficult to see on a photo but she has a wonderful complexion, a real English Rose. My skin tone looks even because of very kind camera settings; Sundae has the real deal.

[eta] Ibby, lookin good kiddo!

OK, I need a shave!

Dana - they're right, that is a lovely photo. Doesn't matter if it's all about camera angles etc, you look great. Thank you for the wonderful compliments you give me. I will heed my advice to you and leave it there, rather than try to deflect them :)

Ibs you look as cute as ever.
That haircut is so formal! Makes me wants to lean over and muss it up a bit. As I'm sure it does half your college...

Brian I so don't remember you having long hair!
Have you been growing it since you last appeared/ do you usually tie it back/ am I just very inattentive?

Answers on a postcard please.

Pickey me? But, but the numbers say "08/15/2009." Brian?
Looking good.

I failed to reset the date on my camera after I inserted fresh batteries. That was a week ago, just after beginning the annual decorating madness. I did brush my hair, as it was in quite a state.

SG: I didn't always. I usually had a crew cut. Yes, I have been growing it. Yes, it spends it's time in either a ponytail or braided. Your attention span has been dealt with in another thread. ;)

Oh, I seem to remember that I did shave earlier, but the blade was a tad dull, thus accounting for the measles-like bumps. Since replaced with sharper blades.

You're looking healthier Brian.

BrianR 12-20-2009 04:12 PM

I'm getting better all the time. I've reduced stress, upped my meds, lowered my blood pressure and pulse, my doctor gave my heart a clean bill of health and now all I need is a new job to pay off my bills.

By washed, do you mean been near water or just washed with shampoo? I don't use shampoo, but if I miss a day in the shower I'm all itchy and ughy...

loving the long hair, Brian :D

monster 12-20-2009 09:38 PM

(you look a lot younger -combination of the hair and health i guess ...how old are you?)

BrianR 12-21-2009 10:27 AM

I turned forty...something on Saturday. :D

I firmly believe that I'm only as young as I act.

I did have the hair colored that day to hide the gray seeping in all over. I like it, even if my hairdresser had hair like Bram Stokers' Dracula.

The hair is a LOT more work than I anticipated tho. But I'll get used to it.

I mean near water. :P I don't do showers, only baths. And since I always have Oilatum in my bath I try not to let it make contact with my hair!
