This past Saturday I went to the funeral of a friend's father. Someone I was with said to his daughter, "You know, nobody's going to tell you this, but someone told me this at my father's funeral, and I felt a lot better. 'This really sucks.'"

So, Limey, now I'm telling you ... This really sucks.

Each day will be a little bit different.

Limey, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Just hold your head up high knowing you were a good daughter and did the best you could for her. Remember the good moments you shared with her and don't hold on to any bad ones.

Please add my family's condolences, Limey. There is the point at which all you can do is care and wait. I was there when my father-in-law passed and it sucks.
