I'm speechless.

You dirty troll!

BrianR 07-08-2008 08:05 AM

What I don't get is, why? Why go for a ban when he is perfectly capable of simply deleting the bookmark and staying away.

After all, we've lost users before. They just vanish one day. Witness Dagney. Gone, no banning required.

What? Does he not trust himself to stay away? huh?

Why? Just look at all the attention he's getting. Probably the most evaaaah!

Are you kidding? I've been trying to leave the Cellar since the week before I joined.

I didn't IP ban him or anything. If he wants another try he can always sign up for another account. He can even use "datalyss".

Michael Corleone: Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in.

Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Sundae 07-09-2008 04:08 AM

An arsehole leaves as Drax...
An arsehole returns as Datalyss

(not very successful paraphrase of an AA saying which means the same as CG's post)

Well with the court case coming up...

BrianR 07-10-2008 09:32 AM

court case?

Cloud 07-10-2008 11:26 AM

some people really do get addicted to the Internet. Don't know what Drax's problem may be, but I think there may be cases where requesting to be banned may be beneficial and necessary. Who are we to say?

Might as well respect his wishes.

Don't we all believe, without foundation, there is a court case?

Drax had earlier requested I completely delete his account -- in November 2007. I ignored this request. A few weeks later he restarted posting.
