Because I say what I think?

i don't think life is meaningless - it's all in how you approach it. i enjoy being around my family (mostly), stay away from the ones i don't. i'm the type of person who sees the glass half full, it's just something that i have noticed about myself - i try to see the positive. it's not that i don't have concerns or worries. i don't stick my head in the ground and think that the crap is going to go away. life is hard, but you make it what you want it.:)

The meaning of life for me is Joy--those split seconds of bliss you feel when you look upon a gorgeous sunset or hear your child giggling. That's what it's all about to me.
Something that seems to be in rather short supply here. :( |
I think the meaning of life is whatever you make it. It can be meaningless or a great deal more. One can live for themselves, others or both, it can all be meaningful as long as done with conviction. Many students have neither conviction nor solid priorities.

You can take meaning as two different ways.
On a personal level (friend and family) then of course people have meaning. If I died today I'm sure many people would be hurt and my death would have an impact on other people meaning that my life is meaningful in some way. On a universal level life is meaningless. Humans are no more important to the world than a fly or lion. We are just a small notch in history and we will be gone soon and the universe will move on with or without us. |
Not really, our matter and energy will still be here.

Nothing ever is. Ego is just an illusion even now.
