Last year we dressed the inchlet as a bumble bee. He became upset when he thought that he would actually become a bee. He maintained that he wanted to be a little boy.

This year we think he knows he will not actually be a leopard, he'll merely dress as one. We'll see. cf being eaten by a lego cow, and still worried that he will go down the drain with the bathwater...

As for homegirl, she's still not sure.

Or you could get a small battery powerd fan , some tape , some string and a saliors hat and be the stay puff marsh mellow man , She could dress up like SHENA , to tame the fierce leopard ,

Beautiful sis-in-law is wearing last year's costume and I am wearing a new one I made this year. I got smart and made the vest, bodices and skirts LACE-UP to accomodate changing waist sizes. ;-)
Husband agreed to the kilt if he could have a sword. To get him into one, I said Yes!
I did not have enough time to shop for fabric to finish the blue costume. I wanted a silver/gray blouse and underskirt. No fabric stores had the type of fabric I wanted, so I used store bought black knit top and skirt.

Went to a friends house tonight.
The house was decked out and after dark the porch lights, light up the decorations.
The storm window/screen was out of the door leaving a hole.
She was standing inside the door, in the dark, with a smoke machine blowing out the hole in the door.
The parents would typically stand on the sidewalk and send the tykes up the walk where she would jump up, wearing red and black makeup, rastifarian wig and a hooded cape.
Tomorrow she'll have to scrape the tyke poop off the walk. :D

It appears to be a beer cozy. The kind that is used on bottles instead of cans.
