Funny story all right. A little welcome levity for those guys I guess.

I was just in Houston today. I visited what is left of Baytown on the east side. It mostly looks okay, no flooding visible. But many piles of debris along residential streets and filling hotel parking lots. I assume that the city/state will make periodic passes through these areas and haul it all off for disposal.

The port terminal seems to be well into operation, no debris or damage evident. Overbearing security still firmly in place. And I have been reminded that ten years ago I promised myself to refuse all loads to/from this place. Personal promise renewed, with vigor this time! What a crap assignment for a measley $120. NOT worth my effort.
