Chat isn't the cellar, it's chat. It's relaxing, having a beer, and shooting the shit with people you know on the cellar. That some people are too socially retarded to manage this without fucking it all up for themselves or the rest of us speaks to them, not to chat itself. And trolls will be trolls, but of course they're not going to admit to it.

I want to know what rules she broke, to be repeatedly booted from chat.

Ahh, screw it........It's just lame and I know it.

Sundae 03-09-2009 11:33 AM

Except it excludes those of us in different timezones.
Which is not what the Cellar is about.

And yes, I am bitter.

jinx 03-09-2009 11:43 AM

That's fucked up.

Undertoad 03-09-2009 11:46 AM

The logs show that shawnee was never kicked. It's her bad connection failing her.

Cicero 03-09-2009 11:51 AM

I suspected as much.....That's happened with her connection on several occasions.

So why do I have a pm that could be taken differently without actually saying? Or am I "crazy" too? BS. Misdirection......

Undertoad 03-09-2009 11:52 AM

Merc the text you've posted, and all our memories, show an apology never happened.

Perhaps you were kicked just as you had composed one and had your finger over the Enter key.

We can take your word on that but we know there was no apology posted, only a deep defense of your own situation which is actually the opposite of an apology. An apology therefore is still pending, it never occurred.

You can remove this whole mess, then, by writing a heartfelt actual apology, with feeling, like you mean it. If you don't mean it, pretend that you do.

And btw don't want to hurt broken people? FWIW, if you haven't worked it out yet from life, we are pretty much all broken, and that definitely includes you and me. Set out to hurt anybody at all, we fuck up. Best approach is not to set out to hurt.

I had to come back in as something else cause I kept getting kicked out. I think I did it there as I was trying to find out what line I crossed.

I did not mean to set out to hurt. And including my post above, I do apologize, like I said I don't think it would be accepted.

Well said, UT.

OK, I apologize to merc for the acccusation. Since my connection was fine when lj and the rest of the crowd was there you can understand the confusion.

What pm? From me? My records show no pm from me to you for a couple weeks.

Boy, this has been fun. Where might I sign up for more?

Cicero 03-09-2009 12:10 PM

No Shawnee........Not you...........

Read the post again.

Sundae 03-09-2009 12:20 PM

Cicero being as comprehensible as usual...

Undertoad 03-09-2009 12:23 PM

Okay, an apology doesn't include "it won't be accepted", and generally includes more of a mea culpa sort of feel to be real, but cool.

Cicero 03-09-2009 12:23 PM

Yah well. I like to preserve anonymity while getting my message across to the person it is intended for.

It really wasn't for you.

Sundae 03-09-2009 12:25 PM

Didn't seem to work for the person it was intended for either.
Or at least it confused two of us.
