I'm serious, all my traffic analysis is seat-of-the-pants.

I don't even think in those kinds of numbers. Total bandwidth is for marketing. They don't mean anything at 4pm EST when traffic is at its highest.

Jolly good, just trying to get an idea how much a site this size with this kind of content burns though. Those of us plebs who buy colo space in other people's datacentres have to pay by the gig :P ;)

As for me, sometime in '93 - '94 I bought an Apple IIgs and a modem to go with it. I got a shell account with Net Access (which I still use) to connect to my old NCSU accounts and chums, and started investigating the local BBS scene.

The two I called the most were the Cellar and the Institute of Artificial Insanity.

And so it went from there.
