She's doing her own thing. She's pretty busy lately. I'm sure she'll poke her head in some time soon. :)

I don't remember if I remembered her birthday.....probably not. I don't keep up to date with birthdays and stuff like I used to.

I don't ever check for birthdays. I really don't know how to anyway.

For me it's the luck of the draw. If I know in advance I might even send a card (by snail mail). But if I don't check the Birthday thread then someone I hold in high esteem might not even get an online Happy Birthday.

Next time you talk to him, I have a general medical question. See if he'll swap emails. What I want to know is: I want to put together a comprehensive medical kit for first aid. What do I want in it and where do I find the esoteric things? Like LRS bags and field dressings for serious wounds and the like.

In case I come upon a serious accident and need to stabilise injured people. I know how to use most of the first aid stuff (I trained as a corpsman in the navy while in the Gulf) but I could use an informed opinion.
