Cloud: I like the shape of your glasses! Was thinking of getting a pair of sunglasses in that shape but wasn't sure it'd fit my face. Btw, you like your pigtails, huh. Seen several pix of yours in them. :p:

If I were to put my CV up you would all call bullshit. I think I've done more shit by 30 than most will do in a lifetime. I pay it out slowly...

37 degrees and breezy RFN, with rain on the way. Accuweather says our wind chill is 29. Brr.
|
Spring hasn't come for anyone else other than us? Wild flowers are blooming everywhere here, so pretty and torture for people with allergies.
|
Weather forecast:

Hi WoOdy.
How come you are black and white but the hat is red? It's like you're stuck between Kansas and Oz! |
I was playing with a new app I found... I truely HATE self shots...of myself!
But I guess I can let one slide through since it took me twenty minutes or so to add the red-hat effect. Too much work to just send it to the recycle bin. Jeff |
It's a good picture!

A photo courtesy of Addie. Notice how she put the the pinwheel on my face. She is typing the next part of the message:
u7'll'hk[onpbljip.00ldo0ocp.fototroptt;-;-8--09-000:thepain:0==-ierjt:cool:tjjyy.:rolleyes:y9i |
Great shot. She's a cutie and I love that you're in the background (that is you, isn't it?).
|
It's me. She is 3 yoa and was sittng in the chair with me. She used the webcam on my laptop and even added the pinwheel herself. She thought it was funny to put it on my face. She uses computers at pre-school & I'm quite surprised by how much she knows.
Addie is my youngest daughter. Some of you might remember the anguish I went through when I went a year & a half without seeing her. We're still bonding & trying to get her to comprehend my role in her life. She calls her stepfather "daddy" and I'm called "big-daddy". Big Sarge to Big Daddy. LOL |
Addie stands for...?
|
Her name is Emma Adeline. Emma is for her maternal grandmother. Adeline was my great grandmother's name and she was called Addie. My family is very big on traditional names. The oldest male of each generation is named "Louis" (usually as a middle name as my son & I are). A tradition that began when our ancestors were german mercanaries for Napolean and were exiled. My oldest daughter is Elizabeth Christine, both names date back to our part of the family from Bavaria.
The only one not in the tradition is my "adoptive" daughter. Even though she Native American, she has a very traditional Irish name which fits in great with my mother's side of the family. I know, too much info but I'm so proud of my kids |

The doctor took an EKG and said that I am lucky to be alive, then scheduled a cardiac ultrasound. It's never good when a doctor says things like that. Thankfully, there is nothing wrong with my ticker other than a small murmur which I have had all my life. The thyroid is coming under control now, thanks to a new doctor (a specialist) and different meds. That, and I'm getting looked at again for the first time in a year. I have gained back all the lost weight, plus some that I didn't lose. I wish this weight would steady out at 180 lbs and stay there! Sigh Oh well, I'm okay and that's the important thing. Pamela |
very true BramelaR. glad things are finally getting better. i remember talking to you about a year ago on the health issues. glad things are working out!
