I lied about going back to bed. Now trying to work out how best to schedule the day. Now we have too many options.

monster 02-12-2012 06:45 AM

7:45 Sunday at the ice rink. 7am Practice was optional this morning. Thor took that as a challenge. yawn

GOOOOD MORNING CELLARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

It's it a little too early for being this loud? Too late it's O Five thirty. What does the O stand for? Oh my god I've had like two hours sleep!

Time for Water Polo practice.....

DanaC 03-19-2012 05:05 AM

It's 10 am.

I've only been up for two hours.

I've just snuck in under the door for submitting my paper for the Social History conference next month. To be considered for the postgrad prize (i.e small bit of cash and publication in their journal) a paper copy had to be submitted by 12:00 today.

I've been working on it half heartedly for weeks, but this weekend I had to pull it together and finish it.

Got up this morning thinking I still had to cut some out to get it into the 2-3000 words limit. Then reread the reqs and it said 3-4000words! No cutting required *smiles*

Threw together a mash up of an abstract cut and pasted from my conference proposal and threw in the five 'keywords' and voila: ready to email and it wasn't even 10 am :)

My day is stretching out ahead of me. I am giving myself the day off. Couple of odds and sods to do, but nowt too heavy. Glorious!

richlevy 03-19-2012 07:46 AM

Good morning all.

Off to work. Nothing earth shattering planned today.

monster 03-25-2012 04:32 AM

5am on a Sunday in Ohio. must be swimming!

infinite monkey 03-25-2012 04:37 AM

Or you're insane.

Sundae 03-25-2012 04:50 AM

Our clocks went forward today.
It's 10.44 now (according to the 'puter).

I felt wonderful when I woke up.
Realising it was Sunday. I wasn't waiting for the alarm to go off, I didn't have to rush and hustle.
Sunday is a gift now, because I don't hate Monday, because I don't worry all day. And also because I'm not alone. It's not a trial to get through. The 'rents have their routines and so do I. They go to Tesco in the morning (yay - house to myself!) and I bake a cake late morning or early afternoon.
And I get a dinner made for me in the evening.

Used to be I helped make or at least wash up, but then we had the spat about not eating together - the one where I pulled a face at Mum's coughing. We've avoided that situation pretty much ever since.

Part of me thinks we should be over this by now and I should extend an olive branch. Another part of me thinks at least this way there won't be another row - there've been too many over dinner, really.

Trilby 03-25-2012 07:32 AM

I've got bronchitis. All stuffy this morning with impressive smoker
sounding cough with bits of lung coming up. Good morning
indeed.

monster 07-03-2012 02:56 AM

Record! 3:56am. :eyeroll:

regular.joe 07-03-2012 03:41 AM

Good morning Monster. What you up so early for?

orthodoc 07-03-2012 05:11 AM

Airport ride for friends.

And now swim practice. As long as the thunder doesn't return. Did not get back to sleep :/

monster 03-19-2013 06:02 AM

It's 7am, I've been up for two hours. Must be PoloSeason#2MorningPractice#1.

Let me tell you, I'VE NEVER BEEN SO FUCKING SCARED IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I don't know how I'm going to do it again on Thursday  I was shaking at the wheel which didn't help. I think maybe I'll take the dodge, people seem to think it's ok to bully the little car. but I don't want to be scared off. what if I never find the nerve to try again?

I can't even comprehend that possibity. They may kill you, but they won't scare you off.

Hmmmm.... 6:25 back from morning practice run. It's kind of easy to get out of that habit after only a week off..... even though I've woken at 5am every fucking day during break. I hate that

monster 09-16-2013 05:05 AM

Week two of morning practice for both high-schoolers. 6am: both are already in the pool, I'm sat at school checking my email, killing time before I go to work at 7am -no point going home, at least the school has the public WiFi turned on.

glatt 09-16-2013 07:20 AM

No thanks. That's too early.

monster 09-08-2014 04:16 AM

Goooooooooooooooooooood Morning CELLAR!

It's 5:15 am and time for the first morning practice run of the school year (both high-schoolers again)

lumberjim 09-10-2014 12:10 AM

Dude. No one is up this early. Shhh.

monster 03-04-2015 02:43 AM

3.42am up dressed and ready to leave for the first super-early day of my new job. on the plus side, I'll be done around noon :)

limey 03-04-2015 07:01 AM

I used to enjoy the early shift for that very reason :)

glatt 03-04-2015 07:30 AM

Good morning. You're both nuts. That's prime sleeping time. :p:

xoxoxoBruce 03-04-2015 11:58 AM

I prefer the 11 to 7 shift, but about 4:30 or 5 would get extremely sleepy for 20 minutes, then good to go.
Not a problem for monster, she's all pumped up, ready to go, and enough spare time to post. Running full throttle on adrenaline. :haha:

monster 03-04-2015 06:12 PM

I'm knackered now, but both the boys have late games.... and I have to be up at 3:15 again. Survived the first :Sale On: day, though. :)

(wasn't done at noon :/)

monster 03-05-2015 02:45 AM

:)

xoxoxoBruce 03-05-2015 10:48 AM

There she goes again... lookout world, beep beep, comin' through, maid on a mission!
