Are those trucks huddling to stay warm?

Pamela 01-25-2014 06:42 PM

Note that in Austin a mere dusting of powder is enough to make everyone stay home and the city to shut down. Look at it! Not a soul to be seen! Meanwhile in Michigan, it's business as usual.

Naaaaaw. The truck drivers heard that schools were open and thought they were a substitute for convoys!

Maybe she that was just her verbal shorthand for 'read the fucking manual'.

Tell me about your paradise next summer, when you need an umbrella and a jug of water just to cross the parking lot. :p:

Your Spanish pronunciation would be a source of great entertainment down here. Protip: Jesus doesn't start with a hard J, either. :)

Meanwhile, in bipolar Austin weather:

Friday night - snow, city shuts down, schools close
Sunday afternoon - high 70s, t-shirt weather
Monday night - mid 20s, no moisture otherwise it might have snowed again

Ann Arbor officially has the snowiest January on record. And that was 3pm yesterday, we've had a few more inches this morning and more to come....

orthodoc 01-26-2014 09:42 PM

We've had numerous inches this weekend. No plows. Tomorrow morning rush hour will be nasty.

Love my Blizzaks. ;)

As I go out to my car tonight, my immediate thought is, "Hey, it seems warmer ..." it is. 30°. Spring must be on the way.
