OK, UT.

what's the rough footprint of the house?
How many doors and windows?
bushes/shrubs at the base?
How big a 2nd story deck?
What kind of siding?
paint or stain?

Count me in!

I'm thinking it would be awesome to make a community "barn-raising" type thing out of this. Of course, fffoooooottt's got most of the hard work done already (which makes it an awesomer idea), but there's so many other things we can help with.

I make an awesome food and bev wench, I've got l33t decorating skills (did someone say "cheap chic?"), and fully understand the imperative of proper bong-loading and smoke-break service. Get UT in on it and we can all help him recover his cakeness.

Come to think of it, my garage/shop building (such as it is) and chicken yard/fence could both use a complete overhaul. When we're done at footer's, you're all invited to my place for another project...

Who wants to come to Washington?

The framing is so incredibly beautiful it's a shame to cover it up. I haven't seen work that nice for a very, very long time. :artist:

Thanks, Bruce. I know what you mean. I always regret having to cover up the framing.
